Jazz a Spazio Seme giovedì 31 agosto dalle 21,15 per la serata concerto e reading dal titolo “Storie jazz” (Via del Pantano 36, ingresso 10 euro). Musica e letture per ripercorrere i più bei brani del jazz, un repertorio accompagnato da narrazioni su curiosità e aneddoti.
Le origini, i personaggi, la canzone spiritual tradizionale afroamericana con brani come “Sinnerman” e “Joshua feet the battle of Jericho” portati al successo da cantanti impegnate anche sul fronte dei diritti civili (Nina Simone, Mahalia Jackson). Ma anche un omaggio allo swing (Frank Sinatra, Sammy David Jr., Johnny Hartman) e alle ballads (Moody’ Mood, But Beautiful, Come rain or come shine). Sul palco di Spazio Seme si esibiranno Gianni Bruschi (voce), Ivan Elefante (tromba), Francesco Sarrini (contrabbasso), Federico Nuti (pianoforte), Saverio Cacopardi (batteria). Testi e letture a cura di Francesco Botti. Un tributo al genere musicale che ha contribuito a incentivare il dialogo tra popoli e culture diverse, veicolo di rispetto dei diritti umani, finalizzato a rafforzare l’uguaglianza abbattendo ogni forma di discriminazione. La serata è organizzata da Spazio Seme in collaborazione con Associazione Music! Lo spazio verrà allestito sull’immagine dei jazz club con luci e tavolini (prenotazione consigliata).
