SANSEPOLCRO – Ritorna anche quest’anno l’appuntamento con “Borgo Sport”. L’evento, organizzato dal Comune di Sansepolcro, è in calendario per il prossimo fine settimana, sabato 16 e domenica 17 settembre, in viale Diaz a Porta Fiorentina. Una “due giorni” interamente dedicata alle realtà sportive del territorio, dove giovani e meno giovani potranno cimentarsi nella pratica delle diverse discipline, con strutture messe a disposizione dalle società e dalle associazioni sportive del Borgo.
L’intero tratto di viale Diaz sarà occupato da supporti per la pratica sportiva, dal calcio al basket, dalla pallavolo alla scherma, dal tennis sino ai giochi da tavolo come il ping pong. Non mancheranno poi esemplari dell’antico e suggestivo “calcio balilla”. Sui marciapiedi ai lati di viale Diaz ci saranno punti ristoro e un palco dove sono previste esibizioni di danza e accompagnamento musicale nella serata di sabato 16 grazie alla band “Luca e gli Amici”. Nella giornata di sabato 16 “Borgo Sport” si terrà dalle 16 fino alle 24, mentre domenica 17 gli spazi saranno frequentabili dalle 10 alle 12.30 del mattino e dalle 15 alle 20 del pomeriggio. “Si rinnova un appuntamento piacevole e atteso dalla nostra gente” commenta il sindaco di Sansepolcro Fabrizio Innocenti “che è insieme una vetrina importante per la nostra ricca realtà sportiva, reduce da un 2023 contrassegnato sin qui da risultati di rilievo sia a livello di squadre che individuale, sia una opportunità per tutti coloro, ragazzi e bambini soprattutto, che vogliano sperimentare in prima persona il fascino delle diverse discipline. Sansepolcro, ricordiamo insignito del prestigioso titolo di Comune Europeo dello Sport nel 2021, è realtà molto attiva da sempre in questo settore. E simili eventi non fanno altro che rafforzare questo legame, soprattutto a beneficio delle giovani generazioni”.
