Un successo per Citerna e per il suo messaggio contro la violenza sulle donne lettera di Valentina Ercolani ” Siamo giunti al termine di questa meravigliosa manifestazione realizzata a Citerna di “Spose ieri e oggi”: un evento che parla di amore in tutte le sue forme, partendo dal sogno del matrimonio, di una vita felice insieme alla persona che si ama, di condivisione, fino a quando questo sogno viene infranto, e si insidia come un parassita la violenza, in ogni sua forma; perché ricordiamoci che la violenza spesso è un mostro silente all’Interno delle mura domestiche; non si manifesta subito in maniera eclatante, inizia con un gesto, una parolaccia, poi diventa offesa, fino a diventare isolamento, aggressività, manipolazione, e nei casi più estremi violenza fisica.
Ho voluto fortemente realizzare questo evento, perché credo con fermezza che il nostro compito, come cittadini di una società civilizzata, sia quello di sensibilizzare, di tendere una mano, di prevenire, di aiutare a riconoscere, non di condannare perché a quello ci pensano le istituzioni. Ritengo che l’arte, in ogni sua forma, sia lo strumento più potente e urgente per lanciare e veicolare un messaggio, perché l’arte scuote gli animi, ci destabilizza, ci entra nel profondo, e il mio intento era quello di infondere bellezza, gioia, emozione allo stato puro, lanciando un messaggio, e cioè che la violenza esiste! Non è solo un mostro remoto che si sente al telegiornale, e come tale va contrastata, con ogni mezzo che abbiamo. Ciononostante volevo che i nostri spettatori si alzassero dalla sedia con la gioia e la bellezza nel cuore; perché la donna è questo, è bellezza, è vita e, va lodata ogni giorno. Non a caso è stata decontestualizzata dal 25 Novembre, giornata mondiale contro la violenza sulle donne, perché volevo che fosse chiaro il concetto che ogni giorno dobbiamo ricordarci di celebrare l’importanza della donna, e non cadere nell’orrore di normalizzare la violenza. A volte basta un piccolo gesto, una canzone, un sorriso, un abbraccio per aprire una breccia nel muro di silenzio e impotenza che circonda i femminicidi. Io spero nel profondo che questa serata sia stata una mano tesa a molti e molte. Rita Levi Montalcini diceva: “Le donne hanno sempre dovuto lottare doppiamente. Hanno sempre dovuto portare due pesi, quello privato e quello sociale. Le donne sono la colonna vertebrale delle società.” Noi questa sfilata la vogliamo dedicare a loro, a tutte quelle donne che lottano e hanno dovuto lottare, e dirgli che non sono sole!Infine ci tengo tantissimo a ringraziare tutti, dal primo all’ultimo, perché mai mi sarei aspettata questa partecipazione e collaborazione, e questo mi emoziona molto. Voglio sottolineare che tutte le attività coinvolte, sono intervenute gratuitamente, all’unico scopo di portare questo messaggio a tutti voi!
