La storia di Alessandro, della sua prontezza e della sua prova di maturità, è francamente una di quelle che consolano. È confortante sapere che i giovani sono anche questi, e siamo certi che siano la maggior parte. Il coraggio e la lucidità nell’applicare nel migliore e più corretto dei modi prima il massaggio cardiaco e poi il defibrillatore meritano la nostra più piena riconoscenza. Salvare una vita a 17 anni è un gesto che non solo merita di essere raccontato, ma anche di essere riconosciuto e portato ad esempio. Alessandro ha compiuto con la semplicità, l’istinto, l’immediatezza più pura che solo i giovani possono avere, qualcosa di davvero grande. Grazie a nome di tutta la città per un gesto che ha insegnato molto, esprimendo al meglio i valori umani e rendendo la nostra comunità un luogo migliore. Di certo, questa storia ci fa comprendere quanto sia importante, in particolare tra i ragazzi, la diffusione della cultura della prevenzione e della formazione per il messaggio che entrambe portano con sé di consapevolezza e responsabilità, quelle che hanno permesso ad un giovane di compiere un gesto così grande, e meritevole di tutti i riconoscimenti fino ad oggi ricevuti. A questi oggi si unisce il nostro, sincero, con il dono a lui del 33esimo Cavallino che distingue i rappresentanti della città che siedono in questa Aula”.
