“La nuova fase non comprometta la piena ripresa dell’attività dell’azienda” Il vescovo di Arezzo-Cortona-Sansepolcro, monsignor Andrea Migliavacca, a margine delle celebrazioni che lo hanno visto presente, in questo fine settimana, in Valdarno per il conferimento della cresima in alcune parrocchie e per l’insediamento del nuovo parroco di Santa Teresa d’Avila in San Giovanni Valdarno
ha voluto indirizzare un messaggio di saluto e di vicinanza ai lavoratori della Fimer di Terranuova Bracciolini, ai quali aveva portato la sua personale solidarietà e quella dell’intera comunità cristiana aretina lo scorso 8 giugno 2023, all’apice di un momento molto delicato per l’impresa, nel corso di una visita presso lo stabilimento valdarnese. “In questi mesi ho seguito gli sviluppi della vicenda e avevo sinceramente sperato che le nubi si fossero finalmente diradate – ha affermato il Vescovo – ora, però, capisco che siamo di nuovo a uno snodo delicato e decisivo di questa lunga crisi, segnato dalla dichiarazione di insolvenza e dalla nomina dei commissari giudiziali”. “Per questa ragione – ha proseguito monsignor Migliavacca – desidero esprimere, ancora una volta, la mia vicinanza ai lavoratori della Fimer, a tutti coloro che operano nell’indotto di quell’impresa e a tutte le loro famiglie. So che sono in atto in questi giorni alcune iniziative, promosse da parte delle istituzioni e delle forze sociali, perché la nuova pagina che si è aperta non comprometta l’iter di rilancio dell’impresa che si era avviato, ma sia anzi l’occasione per indirizzare finalmente a soluzione questa difficile crisi. Spero, di cuore, che esse trovino ascolto e disponibilità: tutti noi siamo consapevoli che il lavoro è un diritto fondamentale e un bene per ogni persona, perché consente di accrescere ed esprimere la propria dignità umana, di formare e mantenere una famiglia, di contribuire al bene comune”. “Il mio augurio e la mia preghiera, che sono l’augurio e la preghiera dell’intera comunità cristiana – ha concluso il Vescovo – è che le vicende che sono in atto possano portare a una piena ripresa dell’attività dell’azienda, alla sicurezza dell’impiego per i lavoratori e, di conseguenza, a un futuro di certezze e serenità per le loro famiglie”.
