AREZZO – Sabato 28 e domenica 29 ottobre 2023 la Tenuta di Frassineto, nella strada vicinale del Duca 14, a Frassineto (AR), ospita la terza edizione di “Gravel Bike Event”. L’iniziativa, dedicata agli appassionati di bici gravel, e-bike e mountain bike, si svolgerà nei sentieri della Valdichiana aretina ed è organizzata in collaborazione con La Chianina Ciclostorica e Monte Lignano Bikers.
Partners dell’iniziativa sono Trek Bicycle Arezzo, Gravel Alò, Castello di Gargonza, Cosmonauts, Menchetti dal 1948, Azienda Agricola Bemoccoli, Frantoio Cacioli e Frutta e verdura di Valentina, Andrea, Antonella e Silvano Chianucci. Sarà anche quest’anno un weekend all’insegna della passione per la bici, il buon vino, le tradizioni e la storia della Valdichiana. Una full immersion in uno dei paesaggi rurali più affascinanti e visitati dai turisti, plasmato nel corso dei secoli a quattro mani dalla natura e dall’uomo. Borghi, castelli, opere di ingegneria idraulica e panorami mozzafiato accompagneranno tutti i partecipanti lungo tre diversi itinerari.
Sabato 28 ottobre è previsto il “Giro del Foliage”, un percorso breve di 20 chilometri (75% sterrato e 25% asfaltato) che dalle ore 15.00 condurrà gli iscritti all’interno dei 500 ettari della Tenuta di Frassineto, con la possibilità di visitare la cantina, l’antica “barricaia”, i vigneti che nel periodo autunnale assumono colori unici, i due laghetti e il parco della Villa di Frassineto, una delle antiche e gloriose fattorie S.A.R., quindi di diretta gestione del Granducato di Toscana. Al termine della pedalata, intorno alle ore 17.00, è previsto un aperitivo per i presenti, con la degustazione dei vini di Tenuta di Frassineto abbinati a prodotti tipici locali.
Domenica 29 ottobre, alle ore 9.00, partiranno due percorsi imperdibili per tutti gli amanti delle due ruote, quello lungo di 90 chilometri (75% sterrato e 25% asfaltato, con dislivello di 1.300 metri) e quello semplificato di 47 chilometri (75% sterrato e 25% asfaltato, con dislivello di 500 metri). Nel corso degli itinerari domenicali i partecipanti incontreranno tre punti di ristoro: il primo nel Castello di Gargonza nel comune di Monte San Savino, il secondo nella sede di La Chianina Ciclostorica di Marciano della Chiana e il terzo, dal titolo “Pasta & Wine”, nella Tenuta di Frassineto.I familiari e gli amici degli iscritti a “Gravel Bike Event 2023” potranno attendere il loro rientro nei giardini della Villa di Frassineto e usufruire dei servizi offerti dal wine shop, con la possibilità di degustare e acquistare i vini ricavati da vitigni pregiati come Semillon, Chardonnay, Sauvignon, Traminer, Pinot Bianco, Vermentino, Sangiovese, Syrah, Merlot, Cabernet Franc e Petit Verdot. Le iscrizioni a “Gravel Bike Event 2023” possono essere effettuate fino a domenica 29 ottobre tramite la pre-scrizione nel sito www.tenutadifrassineto.com (sezione eventi), compilando il modulo e inviandolo alla mail shop@tenutadifrassineto.com, insieme alla copia del certificato medico.
