ROMA – “La Castellana” di Giuseppe Manfridi, regia di Lina Milano, in scena al Teatro Di Documenti dal 10 al 12 novembre 1560, Ungheria. La contessa Eszrébet Bàthory è considerata la prima serial killer della storia: più di 600 le sue vittime, fanciulle vergini dal sangue fresco, cosmetico per la pelle della loro carnefice.

Un personaggio reale da cui nasce una creatura scenica densa di enigmi. La regista Lina Milano porta sulla scena del Teatro Di Documenti dal 10 al 12 novembre “La Castellana” con protagonista Ester Alfonsi: la storia di una donna ossessionata dalla bellezza a tutti i costi. La pièce, tratta dal volume “La Castellana (un noir) e altri testi per attrice solista” di Giuseppe Manfridi, racconta un tema attuale che caratterizza ora come allora le relazioni interpersonali: il tempo in cui se non piaci, non esisti. Non si può essere brutti è l’imperativo categorico. Gli estremismi di un personaggio vissuto nel 500 trovano motivazione immutata nel presente. Il culto del corpo che giustifica il ricorso a mezzi estremi fino alla “soluzione finale” per il bene supremo: la bellezza inalterabile e sublime che distingue dalla volgarità della massa. ESTER ALFONSI, professionista nel mondo della recitazione nonché della finanza. Esperta in ambito economico, coltiva da sempre la passione per la recitazione raccogliendo successi in entrambi i campi. Concretizza le sue prime esperienze nel mondo dello spettacolo nella città natale di Padova, ma da 15 anni risiede a Roma dove completa la sua formazione di attrice nelle scuole. Coglie e sperimenta numerose occasioni che la portano a misurarsi con i più disparati ruoli, sino a presentare un monologo replicato con successo più volte in Italia e richiesto poi a Lisbona nell’ottobre 2022. Altre caratteristiche personali sono l’energia, l’impegno, l’entusiasmo e la passione che si traducono nella capacità di motivarsi e motivare i suoi collaboratori.
