Il sindaco Alessandro Ghinelli ha partecipato oggi alla terza edizione di “La Courneuve Dialogue: l’interculturalità nel cuore delle città”, la due giorni organizzata dal Ministero per l’Europa e gli Affari Esteri francese e dall’UNAOC, Alleanza delle Civiltà delle Nazioni Unite. Al centro del dibattito, la promozione del dialogo interculturale con un focus mirato sullo sport come strumento di dialogo e di inclusione.
Venti le città del mondo che partecipano al meeting per confrontarsi su questi temi, sempre più importanti ed essenziali alla pace tra i popoli e all’incontro delle civiltà. Il sindaco Ghinelli ha partecipato alla sessione di apertura insieme ai rappresentanti delle città di Sao Leopoldo (Brasile), Nanterre (Francia), Getafe (Spagna), illustrando due iniziative comunali dove lo sport diventa anche strumento di inclusione e integrazione che saranno presentate alla città nei prossimi giorni e raccontando l’esperienza di Play the Games, l’evento sportivo organizzato dal movimento Special Olympics ospitato ad Arezzo nel 2019.
