Città di Castello – : iniziati i lavori finanziati per 1 milione e 148.290 euro dal PNRR che consentiranno il ritorno del nido comunale in un edificio sicuro e più funzionale, con la capienza che salirà a 38 iscritti. Secondi e Carletti: “fare in modo che questo luogo che ha accolto generazioni di tifernati, e che per questo molto caro a tantissime famiglie, potesse continuare ad avere la sua funzione educativa era un obiettivo prioritario dell’amministrazione comunale”
All’asilo nido “Alice Franchetti” cresceranno ancora generazioni di bambini. Con un finanziamento da 1 milione e 148.290 euro del PNRR, il Comune di Città di Castello ha infatti avviato i lavori di miglioramento sismico dell’edificio, che tornerà a popolarsi di piccolissimi ospiti con una struttura sicura, più funzionale e dalla maggiore capienza (38 iscritti ai fronte dei 30 attuali), come è sempre stato dall’inizio della sua storia ultrassettantennale, quando nei primi anni ‘50 venne aperto dall’Opera Nazionale Maternità e Infanzia (ONMI) per fornire protezione morale e assistenza materiale alle madri e ai bambini. “Questa scuola fa parte della storia della nostra città e avrà ancora una storia in futuro”, sottolineano il sindaco Luca Secondi e l’assessore ai Lavori Pubblici Riccardo Carletti, che stamattina hanno compiuto un sopralluogo sul cantiere, dove l’impresa edile Caporini Costruzioni di Lenola (Latina) ha iniziato i lavori da 15 giorni. “Fare in modo che questo luogo che ha accolto generazioni di tifernati, e che per questo molto caro a tantissime famiglie, potesse continuare ad avere la funzione educativa che lo ha caratterizzato per decenni era un obiettivo prioritario dell’amministrazione comunale, che ha messo l’edilizia scolastica al primo posto nel disegno di riqualificazione e miglioramento della città, considerandolo l’investimento più importante sul futuro delle nuove generazioni e della nostra comunità”, spiegano Secondi e Carletti, evidenziando la soddisfazione “per aver ottenuto le risorse necessarie a effettuare un intervento rispettoso della storia di questa scuola e in grado di rispondere alle esigenze educative moderne, grazie al gran lavoro del personale dei nostri uffici comunali, che ringraziamo per la professionalità e l’amore per la città con cui onorano il proprio impegno quotidiano”. “I cantieri del PNRR che partono sono un segnale importante che agli impegni presi con i cittadini stanno seguendo i fatti, che l’amministrazione comunale sta lavorando seriamente per tenere fede agli obiettivi di miglioramento della città che si è data”, puntualizzano sindaco e assessore. Insieme al responsabile unico del procedimento Martina Alessandrini, gli amministratori hanno constatato dal vivo lo stato di avanzamento dei lavori, che in questo momento stanno interessando soprattutto il seminterrato dell’edificio, dove si rincorrono testimonianze e tratti caratteristici dell’utilizzo educativo che la struttura ha avuto finora. Dichiarato di interesse culturale ai sensi del Codice dei beni culturali e del paesaggio, in quanto rappresenta un’importante testimonianza storico-culturale, simbolo di una tipologia edilizia creata per essere a servizio della comunità, l’asilo nido Franchetti verrà consolidato e reso maggiormente funzionale con un intervento concertato con la Soprintendenza Archeologia, Belle Arti e Paesaggio dell’Umbria. Il progetto redatto dagli ingegneri Diego Migliorati, Andrea Aloigi, Simone Innocenti, Marco Massucci, Alessio Zanchi, dall’architetto Francesco Leandri e dal geologo Alessandro Ricciardi prevede di tutelare l’integrità dell’immobile, migliorando la struttura dal punto di vista sismico, perché possa offrire ai bambini un luogo di crescita sicuro. Il consolidamento dell’edificio si accompagnerà a un importante intervento di abbattimento delle barriere architettoniche attraverso l’installazione di un ascensore e di due rampe di scale esterne, utili sia a superare i dislivelli esistenti, che all’adeguamento alla normativa antincendi. Lo stabile sarà inoltre interessato da opere architettoniche finalizzate al miglioramento della fruibilità degli spazi interni da parte delle educatrici e dei bambini, attraverso la rimodulazione delle aule, l’implementazione dei servizi igienici e la messa a norma degli impianti tecnologici.
