Arezzo una biblioteca vivente raccontata da persone in trattamento per il disturbo da gioco d’azzardo 15 dicembre 2023– Domenica 17 dicembre dalle 15 alle 18 alla Casa Museo dell’Antiquariato Ivan Bruschi si terrà “Human Library – Prendi in prestito un pregiudizio”, l’evento finale del percorso laboratoriale organizzato dall’équipe del gioco d’azzardo del SerD di Arezzo, in collaborazione con l’Associazione Culturale Pandora e l’Associazione Mirimettoingioco, con il coinvolgimento attivo di persone in trattamento per il disturbo da gioco d’azzardo.
I partecipanti potranno visitare la Human Library e leggere, un libro vivente che racconterà, tra i titoli proposti dal catalogo, un’esperienza personale di pregiudizio subìto e superato positivamente. L’evento, nell’ambito del piano di contrasto regionale “Non per azzardo ma per vita”, è ad ingresso gratuito ed intende coinvolgere cittadine e cittadini di tutte le età, associazioni e istituzioni del territorio in un’ottica di promozione della salute e del benessere. I libri della Biblioteca Vivente non sono di carta ma sono persone in carne ed ossa che hanno vissuto situazioni stigmatizzanti e che saranno disponibili a raccontarsi ai presenti in conversazioni di circa mezz’ora. Un’esperienza molto coinvolgente e di scambio reciproco, che spingerà ad andare oltre quella copertina con cui la società spesso riveste e classifica le persone. Scopo dell’iniziativa è testimoniare che la diversità è un arricchimento per la collettività e che è possibile promuovere una convivenza civile, basata sulla conoscenza e il rispetto dell’altro per cercare di ridurre i pregiudizi e le discriminazioni verso coloro che sono percepiti come diversi ad esempio per etnia, religione o orientamento sessuale.
