DEDICATA AL CAMMINO DI SAN FRANCESCO – Alle ore 17,00 di Sabato 23 dicembre 2023 sarà inaugurata , nella Sala degli Ammassi del Palazzo Comunale di Citerna (PG) la mostra di acquerelli denominata “Pellegrinaggio francescano da La Verna ad Assisi” di Luigi Falasconi; pittore e fotografo di Sansepolcro, documenta con uno straordinario numero di acquerelli l’intero cammino che dalla Verna si reca fino ad Assisi.
Falasconi è ben noto anche negli ambienti sportivi avendo militato in club calcistici, in Italia e all’estero, prima come giocatore poi come allenatore.La mostra, nell’estate scorsa, è già stata esposta, con grande successo, al Santuario de La Verna nella ristrutturata straordinaria sala del “Primo Fuoco” che per molti anni ha ospitato il mercatino di beneficenza.Molte le opere dedicate al santuario dove San Francesco fu stigmatizzato ma molte anche quelle nel territorio della Valtiberina toscana e di quella umbra. Documentati poi la stessa Citerna e tutti gli eremi, le chiese e le stazioni che contrassegnano il cammino fino ad Assisi. Tanti, per esempio, gli scorci nel territorio comunale di Valfabbrica (PG). Si scopre che questo cammino è costellato anche di tappe minori che i pellegrini conoscono bene, cappelle, ostelli, accoglienze. Chi conosce il cammino riconosce tutte le immagini e chi non lo conosce scopre che tutte le tappe di questo cammino sembrano avere molto in comune nella colorazione delle pietre, nella collocazione delle strutture nella natura e in una certa luce che sembra pervadere ogni scorcio. Sarà forse perché la mano dell’artista ha reso leggera la visione del tragitto che Francesco ha fatto, ma le opere ci restituiscono un cammino unitario serafico e pacifico. In effetti è una sorta di itinerario, quasi come fosse una mappa. Questo itinerario per immagini, non è un caso, che confluirà presto, illustrandola, anche in una pubblicazione con le parole straordinarie di un pellegrino che ha vissuto intensamente questa esperienza, che Falasconi ha avuto modo di incontrare la scorsa estate.La mostra, promossa dall’associazione “I Cammini di Francesco in Toscana” con il patrocinio del Comune di Citerna e il supporto della Banca di Credito Cooperativo di Anghiari e Stia, si offre dunque nel periodo a cavallo con le festività alla schiera di turisti e pellegrini che visitano il bel Comune umbro noto, tra l’altro, per custodire la Madonna di Donatello. Nella sala degli Ammassi la pittura leggera e rigorosa dell’artista Falasconi è oggi presentata nel migliore dei modi; l’allestimento a cura dello stesso autore, con la collaborazione di Valeria Santi e Michele Foni, presenta le varie aree del cammino in settori e spazi più ampi vuoi al santuario de La Verna, vuoi alla stessa Assisi, ultima tappa dell’itinerario.
La mostra rimarrà aperta fino al 24 Gennaio 2024 con i seguenti orari: 10,30 – 12,00, 16,30 – 18,00.
