Sulla base di un monitoraggio relativo all’anno 2022, la SCA ha totalizzato 1860 punti risultando nelle prime cinque scuole in Italia per numero di iscritti, manifestazioni organizzate, composizione dello staff tecnico e altri servizi e progetti realizzati
“Questo è un risultato che ci riempie di orgoglio e motivazione per il futuro. Da quando nel 2014 abbiamo iniziato questo progetto, il nostro obiettivo è sempre stato quello di trasmettere ai ragazzi i valori dello sport insieme all’opportunità di condividere la passione per la bicicletta con i propri compagni di squadra. L’aggregazione, lo spirito di gruppo e l’inclusione sono i nostri valori fondamentali e cerchiamo di comunicarli attraverso il divertimento in sella alla propria bici. Il tutto è stato possibile grazie all’aiuto di molte persone volontarie e appassionate di ciclismo, che ci hanno aiutato a portare avanti la nostra attività e crescere anno dopo anno. Dal 2020 con l’aiuto del Comune di Arezzo e insieme al sostegno dei nostri sponsor abbiamo la nostra struttura tecnica in centro città, in questa sede facciamo attività quotidianamente e siamo pronti ad accogliere piccoli e grandi biker”, commenta Francesco Papaveri dell’associazione SCA. “Oltre ai complimenti doverosi per il grande traguardo raggiunto, mi preme fare un plauso alla società che in pochi anni ha trasformato quella che era una anonima area verde di periferia in un impianto sportivo all’avanguardia, frequentatissimo e ricco di iniziative, un vero e proprio centro di aggregazione giovanile. Per il 2024 c’è l’impegno di aiutare la SCA per dotare l’impianto comunale di nuove strutture destinate all’accoglienza degli atleti e delle atlete e qualificarlo ulteriormente”, commenta l’assessore allo sport Federico Scapecchi.
