Il profondo sud dell’Europa Mediterranea rivive tra le mura del Teatro Di Documenti il 16 gennaio con “Bonè Bonè”, mentre dal 18 al 21 gennaio diventa eco di un viaggio introspettivo con “Si chiamava Donatella come me”
Due gli eventi in programma al Teatro Di Documenti nella settimana dal 16 al 21 gennaio. Il 16 gennaio alle 20.45 il reading musicale “Bonè Bonè”, echi e idiomi dal profondo sud dell’Europa Mediterranea.
Salvador è un bambino incuriosito e spesso trasportato dai suoni urbani e dai suoni della natura, trovando ogni occasione buona per soffermarsi ad ascoltare il suono circolare e poco dinamico del canale che scorre nella vallata o le sonorità delle “vanniate” dei venditori ambulanti. Siamo nel profondo sud dell’Europa Mediterranea agli inizi degli anni ’80, è estate e fa molto caldo. “Bonè Bonè” emana profumi e odori, proietta colori e immagini, riproduce ritmi, melodie, echi e idiomi dal profondo sud dell’Europa Mediterranea. Con Martino Cappelli e Stefano Di Leginio in scena, la performance include, tra l’altro, canzoni e liriche tratte dai tre dischi del progetto ‘Unnaddarè’ del quale Maurizio Catania è fondatore e direttore artistico.
Dal 18 al 21 gennaio “Si chiamava Donatella come me”, sulle orme di Donatella Colasanti di e con Donatella Mei.
Uno sguardo, un sogno, un monologo che vuole immaginare quello che Donatella Colasanti non ha detto e ricordare quello che ci ha lasciato, dai versi alla fondamentale legge contro lo stupro, che dal 1994 e grazie al suo processo viene considerato un reato contro la persona e non contro la morale. Donatella Colasanti, vittima con Rosaria Lopez, che ne morì, del massacro del Circeo (1975) è scomparsa nel 2005 a causa di un cancro al seno. I trent’anni successivi alla violenza subita, la sua ricerca di giustizia, le lotte politiche, la scrittura, la poesia, la sua passionale aggressività, la legge contro lo stupro, sono la materia viva su cui lavora Donatella Mei. Un viaggio introspettivo, nell’anima della protagonista in cui ogni tappa è documentata dalla storia giudiziaria, dalle udienze, dal paradossale destino dei tre colpevoli, dal continuo confronto con la realtà e la sua metabolizzazione. Ad accompagnare la sua vita il dolore, l’eco della violenza subita e una costante ricerca di giustizia. Lei, dentro, la forza la trova e la lucidità che le ha permesso di non morire la tragica sera del massacro la conserva ma, per andare avanti annulla progressivamente i segnali che il corpo le manda e muore giovane, a 47 anni. Uno spettacolo di denuncia, ma anche di riflessione e di introspezione, sui meccanismi relazionali fra uomini e donne. Un’opera di sorprendente attualità, che smaschera l’ipocrisia della parità: non bastano le leggi, le opportunità e i progressi fatti dalle donne in tutti i settori della vita pubblica ed economica. Di violenza maschile si continua a morire, anzi proprio laddove aumenta il potere delle donne, si inasprisce il conflitto con gli uomini.
