SANSEPOLCRO – In questi giorni la Regione Toscana ha emesso il Decreto di assegnazione di un maxifinanziamento di 1 milione e 700milaeuro per la ristrutturazione del Palazzetto dello sport di Sansepolcro. Uno dei più cospicui mai ottenuti a Sansepolcro per impianti ad uso sportivo.
Un nuovo successo, questo, ottenuto dall’Amministrazione Innocenti che grazie ad un’attenta programmazione e ad un’assidua partecipazione ai bandi di finanziamento, si è aggiudicata questa enorme somma per ristrutturare il Palazzetto dello sport che rappresenta il centro Vitale dello sport cittadino. Il finanziamento, quindi permetterà di incaricare subito dei progettisti per la ristrutturazione di un impianto che, è sì strategico, ma anch’esso da anni necessita di una manutenzione straordinaria che precedentemente non è mai stata fatta. “Abbiamo l’occasione di dare una grande opportunità a Sansepolcro – dichiara l’assessore ai lavori pubblici riccardo Marzi – rifacendo un palazzetto dello sport che per dimensioni ed età, rappresenta dal punto di vista della gestione un grosso impegno. Con questo finanziamento punteremo alla messa in sicurezza sismica, all’efficientamento energetico e al rifacimento di tutti gli impianti e dei sottofondi. Un’occasione storica per noi – sottolinea Marzi – e sono molto soddisfatto perché dopo aver ristrutturato completamente la palestra Collodi, dopo aver trovato i finanziamenti per la palestra Buonarroti che sta per essere completata a verrà ridata nuova di zecca alla scuola e allo sport cittadino che ne usufruisce, adesso tocca al palazzetto, centro nevralgico che accoglie numerose associazioni del territorio e rappresenta un punto di riferimento importante per le diverse manifestazioni ed eventi sportivi anche di livello internazionale. Il nostro lavoro per reperire risorse utili alla nostra città non si ferma qui, sottolineo infatti che il nostro impegno andrà avanti adesso con la candidatura della pista di atletica e lo Stadio Tevere in un nuovo Bando regionale per lo sport. Esprimo grande soddisfazione – conclude l’assessore – perché il nostro lavoro sta portando milioni di euro di risorse a Sansepolcro che rappresentano il segno evidente che la buona programmazione questa amministrazione sa fare.”
