Si chiamano “Discovery Piscine” e permettono di sperimentare il metodo rivoluzionario di insegnamento del network 42. Primo appuntamento, dei sei in calendario, il 29 gennaio.         

Tornano i workshop di orientamento di cinque giorni “Discovery Piscine” incentrati sulla programmazione web, completamente gratuiti e in presenza, offerti da 42 Firenze, la scuola di coding promossa da Fondazione CR Firenze insieme all’Università Luiss Guido Carli e gestita dalla fondazione strumentale Fondazione Firenze 42 ETS. L’obiettivo del workshop è acquisire le competenze necessarie per sviluppare un sito web utilizzando un editor di testo semplice, apprendendo così le basi della programmazione web e sperimentando al tempo stesso il modello pedagogico 42, basato sullo scambio di informazioni tra pari, senza professori né orari. La scuola di coding 42 Firenze fa parte di un network internazionale di scuole che utilizzano un approccio rivoluzionario alla formazione informatica che si distingue dalle scuole di programmazione tradizionali. Il modello di apprendimento peer-to-peer incoraggia infatti un apprendimento consapevole e un impegno attivo nei confronti del piano di studi. Il programma di studio, basato sullo sviluppo di progetti reali consente agli studenti di “imparare a imparare” lavorando in modo collaborativo e imparando ad integrare le diverse idee dei compagni. Con i workshop “Discovery Piscine” si invitano ragazzi e ragazze dai 18 anni, che non hanno conoscenze pregresse di programmazione, a venire a scoprire il mondo di 42 Firenze che ha sede all’Innovation Center di Fondazione CR Firenze (con ingresso in via del Tiratoio 1). Il corso prevede cinque giorni di programmazione full-time (dal lunedì al venerdì, con orario 9-17) dedicati alla scoperta del metodo 42 e dello sviluppo di siti web, attraverso i linguaggi HTML, CSS e JavaScript. Sono previste 7 ore di lavoro sui progetti con un’ora di pausa pranzo e momenti di scambio con lo staff e gli altri studenti. Il primo dei workshop inizierà il prossimo 29 gennaio, ma altri sei corsi sono in programma fino a luglio.
