In molti hanno partecipato al terzo appuntamento organizzato presso la sede di Unitre in via Martiri della Libertà. “Grazie al presidente Flavio Bravi, a tutti i soci e staff della Unitre ancora una volta abbiamo potuto approfondire un tema importante quanto delicato come il disturbo da gioco d’azzardo patologico. Una realtà in continua crescita che è opportuno conoscere a fondo, così da avere gli strumenti per l’affrontarla in caso di necessità. Il nostro è un lavoro di squadra, espressione di quella fondamentale integrazione sociosanitaria, con una equipe di alto livello che quotidianamente lavora per prevenire e curare questa dilagante piaga della società” ha dichiarato l’Assessore alle Politiche Sociali Benedetta Calagreti, presente all’incontro assieme alla dirigente Giuliana. Zerbato, al Comandante della polizia Locale, Emanuele Mattei, al responsabile del Servizio per il Trattamento del Disturbo da Gioco d’Azzardo (DGA) del Distretto Alto Tevere dell’Usl Umbria 1, Luciano Bondi e a tutto lo staff degli uffici competenti, Maria Cristina Donati Sarti, Leda Pierangeli, Cristina Grilli, Cristina Mariucci, Lucia Cecci e Monia Tanci. Su iniziativa del comune, in collaborazione con l’associazione Unitre di Città di Castello, l’incontro ha consentito di informazioni dei servizi operativi nel territorio in merito a questo tema di scottante attualità con azioni di informazione e sensibilizzazione sui rischi connessi alla pratica del gioco d’azzardo e di contrasto ai disturbi di addiction ad esso riferiti, rivolti a sensibilizzare gruppi particolarmente vulnerabili quali la popolazione over 65 . Il piano intende valorizzare la centralità dei Comuni nel promuovere, sulla base di una forte integrazione tra sociale e sanitario, attività di informazione e sensibilizzazione, interventi a sostegno dei giocatori patologici e delle loro famiglie unitamente ad azioni di promozione sociale e culturale per la costruzione di una cultura alternativa all’ “azzardo”. “Per un’efficace espansione e radicamento di queste azioni – è stato ribadito – nel contesto delle comunità locali, un elemento fondamentale è costituito dallo sviluppo di alleanze permanenti con il privato sociale, il terzo settore, le associazioni di diversa tipologia”. Sinergia è la parola chiave della lotta alla dipendenza dal gioco d’azzardo in Alta Valle del Tevere, dove i comuni della Zona Sociale 1, con Città di Castello capofila, fanno squadra con Regione, Usl Umbria 1 e privato sociale per contrastare il dilagare del fenomeno nel comprensorio, che registra un impatto superiore alla media regionale, con una stima di circa 1.600 persone con problemi economici, familiari e psicologici collegati a questa specifica patologia. Rispetto alla cifra di 1 miliardo 32 milioni e 209.582,26 euro giocata d’azzardo legalmente in Umbria nel 2019 secondo l’ultima indagine del Centro Regionale per la Salute Globale dell’Umbria, nella Zona Sociale 1 dell’Altotevere sono stati, infatti, spesi 104 milioni e 72.668,97 euro, pari al 10 per cento del reddito annuale della zona, più del dato medio umbro pari all’8,64 per cento del reddito annuale regionale, con 1.170 euro annui in media di giocate pro capite.La giocata media pro capite di 1.366 euro annui del comprensorio, al di sopra della media regionale, presenta picchi superiori al valore medio della Zona Sociale 1 e regionale nei Comuni di Città di Castello e San Giustino, con dati comunque molto alti rispetto alla popolazione residente negli altri comuni della vallata. Le macchine da gioco elettroniche (EGM) sono le preferite dagli altotiberini, con un dato pro capite molto elevato rispetto al dato regionale, mentre le giocate in videolotterie (VLT) e lotterie istantanee sono in linea col dato regionale. Significativi i dati numerici: a Città di Castello nel 2019 sono stati giocati 61 milioni 270.156,92 euro, circa l’11 per cento del reddito, con un dato delle giocate pro capite maggiore di quello regionale, a Umbertide sono stati giocati 20 milioni 922.613 euro, circa il 10 per cento del reddito, mentre a San Giustino sono stati giocati 17 milioni 814.624 euro, circa l’11 per cento del reddito. La risposta sinergica che metteranno in campo le istituzioni pubbliche, con i Servizi Sociali e il Servizio per il Trattamento del Disturbo da Gioco d’Azzardo (DGA) del Distretto Alto Tevere dell’Usl Umbria 1 in prima linea nell’attuazione di un nuovo modello operativo, passa attraverso il nuovo centro di riferimento regionale per il trattamento della ludopatia aperto in via del Campo, nel cuore di Città di Castello, e una campagna di sensibilizzazione e prevenzione del gioco d’azzardo patologico strutturata su sei incontri nel territorio con l’Unitre tifernate e con Arcat Umbria, rivolta alla popolazione di età superiore ai 65 anni.Proprio il contributo di Arcat e Unitre, con un’esperienza unica a livello regionale, sarà orientato a contrastare la ludopatia in una fascia di popolazione a rischio, ma anche a stabilire un ponte intergenerazionale verso i giovani, con i nonni nelle vesti di “influencer”, pronti a dispensare consigli indispensabili ai giovani. A indicare il bisogno di un intervento rivolto a tutte le fasce d’età della popolazione sono anche i riscontri del primo anno di attività del centro di riferimento regionale per il trattamento della ludopatia, che ha registrato una media di circa un accesso alla settimana, per un totale di 45 utenti, soprattutto tra i 45 e i 60 anni, con prevalenza dei maschi (in rapporto 3 a 1 con le donne) e 7 casi con più di 65 anni. “Un lavoro – ha concluso l’assessore alle Politiche Sociali, Benedetta Calagreti – ben coordinato con Usl Umbria1, che gestisce il Servizio per il trattamento del Disturbo da Gioco d’Azzardo con sede a Città di Castello, e con il terzo settore, che attraverso l’Unitre tifernate e Arcat Umbria sarà protagonista di sei appuntamenti destinati agli over65, in assoluto una delle fasce più fragili e più colpite dal fenomeno del gioco d’azzardo, che saranno finalizzati alla sensibilizzazione e alla prevenzione del fenomeno in questa fascia della popolazione”. “Qui in Altotevere, incontri partecipati come quello organizzato presso la nostra sede – ha precisato il presidente dell’APS Università della Terza Età-Unitre di Città di Castello Flavio Bravi – si possono fare perché c’è una sinergia efficace tra gli otto comuni della Zona Sociale, l’Usl Umbria 1 e le associazioni di volontariato, un valore aggiunto che ci porta a offrire dei servizi capaci di rispondere alle necessità dei cittadini. L’iniziativa di ieri risponde a queste esigenze: grazie a tutti gli associati che sono soprattutto volontari”. I prossimi incontri sul territorio, in Marzo e Aprile, si svolgeranno a Trestina, Pietralunga e Citerna.
