Bufalini” di Città di Castello. Oltre all’autore, Riccardo Cucchi, umbro di adozione, protagonista nel 2017 a Citta’ di Castello di un partecipato incontro di formazione con i giornalisti, saranno presenti il Presidente dell’Asp, “G.O. Bufalini”, Giovanni Granci, il sindaco, Luca Secondi e l’assessore allo Sport, Riccardo Carletti. Dialogherà con l’autore del libro il giornalista Rai, Antonello Brughini. “Del calcio spesso si racconta il lato peggiore: tifoserie violente, cori razzisti, scontri dentro e fuori dagli stadi, bilanci truccati, penalizzazioni. Eppure, ci sarebbe tanto altro – si legge nella nota della casa editrice che presenta il libro – se solo ci si concentrasse sui valori e si facesse a meno dell’insaziabile fame di profitto che sta macinando diritti e speranze. Basterebbe ricordare com’era calciare un pallone da bambine o bambini. Cominciare da lì e riappropriarsi di quella dimensione popolare che sfruttava l’occasione sportiva per parlare della società, alla società. Ripartire dal rito del gioco e dalle persone che vi prendono parte, in campo e in tribuna, per guadagnarne in solidarietà, rispetto, amicizia, vicinanza”. Queste e molte altre le suggestioni che Riccardo Cucchi propone, narrate attraverso la voce del grande giornalista sportivo. Soprattutto, un appassionato. Un libro che mette in luce il lato migliore del calcio, ossia ciò che potrebbe davvero essere. Riccardo Cucchi è un giornalista ed ex radiocronista sportivo italiano. Nella stagione ’92-93 inizia ad alternarsi a Sandro Ciotti nel ruolo di prima voce di Tutto il calcio minuto per minuto, mentre due anni più tardi diventa radiocronista della Nazionale e prima voce di Tutto il calcio minuto per minuto, ruolo che manterrà per ventitré anni, raccontando diciannove scudetti. Dal 20 agosto 2017, dopo anni di radio, debutta in tv conducendo La Domenica Sportiva fino all’anno successivo. Tra le sue pubblicazioni, La partita del secolo.
