Adelmo Baracchi è stato riconfermato presidente di Confcommercio Casentino per il prossimo quinquennio. L’elezione è avvenuta all’unanimità durante l’assemblea generale dello scorso 6 febbraio, confermando la fiducia e l’apprezzamento dei suoi colleghi. Al suo fianco è stato nominato come vicepresidente Massimiliano Mugnaini, socio della ditta Agricola Casentinese. Baracchi, nato ad Ortignano Raggiolo 76 anni fa, è un imprenditore di successo e titolare di un’agenzia immobiliare con sede a Bibbiena e succursale a Ponte a Poppi. La sua riconferma è un chiaro segnale di continuità all’interno dell’associazione, di cui è guida da ormai alcuni anni. Il consiglio direttivo di Confcommercio Casentino sarà composto da Alberto Alberti, Andrea Baroni, Marta Bidi, Daniele Ghelli, Estero Magliocco, Simone Maglioni, Massimo Ristori, tutti impegnati a contribuire al successo e allo sviluppo delle categorie economiche. A curare la segreteria sarà come sempre il responsabile delegazione Luca Boccalini. “Per il 2024 abbiamo in programma di elaborare una serie di richieste da presentare ai candidati a sindaco, considerando che molti comuni del Casentino saranno chiamati al voto – commenta il presidente Adelmo Baracchi – il terziario sta attraversando una fase complessa e c’è bisogno della collaborazione di chi governa il territorio per chiarire il quadro delle sfide e delle opportunità che ci aspettano”. Da una elaborazione dei dati camerali fatta da Confcommercio, risulta che in Casentino il commercio al dettaglio ha perso 18 attività nel confronto fra 2020 e 2023, mentre il turismo ne ha perse 37. A diminuire, in questo caso, sono stati i pubblici esercizi (bar e ristoranti), mentre le strutture ricettive resistono. “Il calo dei negozi di vicinato è in atto a livello nazionale, qui si aggiunge quello dei bar, in particolare. Le cause? La pandemia ha inflitto il colpo mortale alle aziende meno strutturate, ma lo spopolamento dei nostri borghi ha fatto il resto”, commenta Baracchi. “Da qui, il nostro impegno per rendere più vivaci i centri storici, presentando progetti e bandi che possano favorire l’apertura di nuove attività commerciali. Per quanto riguarda il turismo, stiamo lavorando per definire linee guida condivise con le istituzioni e le attività della vallata: il principale impegno di questo consiglio sarà sostenere gli interessi degli imprenditori locali e promuovere lo sviluppo economico sostenibile del Casentino“.
