Per tre giorni a Sansepolcro a studiare modelli di insegnamento della scienza attraverso le arti CasermArcheologica e il Museo di Storia Naturale dell’Università di Creta hanno avviato così il progetto Erasmus+ Scuola, dal titolo Life on mART. Insegnanti di scienze, arte, fisica, materie letterarie, delle scuole medie di primo e secondo grado hanno trascorso tre giorni a Sansepolcro, dal 15 al 17 Febbraio 2024, lavorando con il team di CasermArcheologica, con due ricercatrici del Museo di Storia Naturale dell’Università e con gli artisti Roberto Ghezzi e Ilaria Margutti, impegnati da tempo in ricerche artistiche in profondo dialogo con la natura
Le attività si sono svolte tra CasermArcheologica in Via Aggiunti 55 e luoghi all’aperto come il Fiume Tevere e gli Orti Urbani gestiti dall’Associazione Floema. Il programma ha previsto inoltre una visita ad Aboca Museum, con particolare riferimento alle attività didattiche per le scuole. Roberto Ghezzi – artista noto per le sue “Naturografie”,tele lasciate in contesti naturali sulle quali la natura agisce lasciando la sua impronta -ha condotto gli insegnanti in tre laboratori di stampa di foglie e elementi vegetali con tecniche diverse, facilmente replicabili anche in classe e in luoghi all’aperto con gli studenti; l’artista ha inoltre mostrato come ha utilizzato la cianotipia, antica tecnica fotografica con i sali d’argento alle Isole Svalbard per registrare lo scioglimento dei ghiacciai. Ilaria Margutti, artista tessile fondatrice di CasermArcheologica ha invece condotto un laboratorio partecipativo invitando tutte e tutti a ricamare insieme osservando attentamente le forme della natura, in particolare i licheni,organismi comunemente diffusi, formati dalla simbiosi tra un fungo e un’alga. Senza schemi e con ampia libertà il gruppo ha avviato il lavoro sulla tela di 4X4 metri che sarà proseguita a Creta per il secondo campus, previsto per settembre 2024. Durante il tempo dedicato al ricamo le docenti e gli insegnati si sono confrontati su buone pratiche per coinvolgere attivamente gli studenti e le studentesse, un momento di grande utilità e alto profilo professionale. Giornate intense dunque, dal sapore internazionale, visto che tutto si è svolto in lingua inglese. Grande soddisfazione per le organizzatrici di CasermArcheologica che commentano l’esperienza: “Sono state giornate preziose, con grande e sentita partecipazione alle attività e continui scambi di conoscenze. Siamo felici che tanti e tante insegnanti del territorio abbiano partecipato, incontrando colleghi e colleghe provenienti da varie parti d’Italia. Il nostro impegno costante è quello di fare di CasermArcheologica un punto di riferimento sia per il territorio che a livello nazionale e internazionale dove promuoviamo l’ibridazione tra linguaggi artistici e campi della conoscenza come l’arte e la scienza”. Appuntamento dunque ai prossimi eventi, il 9 Marzo l’inaugurazione del “giardino del futuro”, mostra dell’artista Andrea Salvatori, allestita all’interno di un giardino realizzato in collaborazione con Aboca Museum, un’occasione per riflettere sui cambiamenti climatici e sul rapporto tra esseri umani e natura.
