Si apre una nuova stagione di investimenti nell’edilizia cimiteriale che interesserà capoluogo e frazioni. Secondi e Carletti: “Impegni mantenuti con i cittadini, nel solco di un’attenzione per l’edilizia cimiteriale che l’amministrazione comunale continua a considerare prioritaria”.
Partiranno a giorni i lavori per l’ampliamento del cimitero di Cerbara, su cui l’amministrazione comunale investirà 268.000 euro per realizzare 104 nuovi loculi suddivisi in quattro batterie complete di lapidi in travertino e tre cappelle funerarie per famiglie, con 10 posti lunghi e 10 ossarini ciascuna. Il cantiere aprirà una stagione di interventi nei cimiteri del territorio comunale che interesserà sia il capoluogo, che le frazioni. L’ente ha infatti affidato le progettazioni esecutive dell’ampliamento del cimitero monumentale per 900.000 euro, dell’ampliamento dei cimiteri di Fiume (dove sarà edificata una nuova batteria di loculi) e di Volterrano, (dove saranno realizzati nuovi sepolcrini), per i quali saranno investiti complessivamente 100.000 euro, e della costruzione di batterie di loculi a Piosina, Canoscio e San Martin di Castelvecchio, per 200.000 mila euro totali. “Impegni mantenuti con i cittadini, nel solco di un’attenzione per l’edilizia cimiteriale che l’amministrazione comunale continua a considerare prioritaria, anche in una stagione di grandi investimenti nella riqualificazione urbana della città, nelle scuole e nella viabilità”, sottolineano il sindaco Luca Secondi e l’assessore ai Lavori Pubblici Riccardo Carletti. “La cura dei 47 cimiteri del nostro territorio – puntualizzano Secondi e Carletti – è una necessità e un dovere, ma sempre stato un impegno sentito e condiviso con i cittadini, nel rispetto della dignità e del decoro di luoghi che custodiscono la memoria degli abitanti delle nostre comunità”. L’investimento su Cerbara sarà finanziato con un mutuo da 200.000 euro con la Cassa Depositi e Prestiti e da fondi del bilancio comunale per la restante quota di 68.000 euro. Le opere, progettate dal geometra Marcello Volpi per la parte architettonica e dall’ingegner Matteo Amantini per la parte strutturale, saranno realizzate dalla ditta F.A.C. s.r.l. di Città di Castello sotto il coordinamento del responsabile unico del procedimento, architetto Benedetta Rossi e sotto la direzione del geometra Giovanni Pauselli, che hanno già provveduto all’atto formale della consegna dei lavori.
