SANSEPOLCRO – “Il coraggio è donna, come la libertà”. E’ la dicitura scelta per presentare l’evento in calendario venerdì 8 marzo prossimo, in occasione della Festa della Donna. L’Amministrazione Comunale ha scelto di solennizzare la giornata con una iniziativa dedicata alla figura di Oriana Fallaci.

La grande giornalista, l’apprezzata scrittrice fiorentina più letta nel Mondo, autrice di best seller come “Lettera a un bambino mai nato”, “Un uomo”, “Intervista con la storia”, “La rabbia e l’orgoglio”. “Ma anche e soprattutto la donna di coraggio” come sottolinea l’assessore Valeria Noferi “che ha fatto della sua vita, sin da quando era ragazza, una sfida senza paura e senza compromessi”. Per omaggiare Oriana Fallaci “giornalista, scrittrice, donna” in programma un incontro-dibattito che si terrà a partire dalle ore 10 di venerdi 8 marzo nella sala consiliare di Palazzo delle Laudi. Che avrà come relatore principe Riccardo Nencini, politico, storico, presidente del Gabinetto Vieusseux, apprezzato scrittore e amico di Oriana Fallaci. “L’appuntamento prevede la presenza di rappresentanze di studenti degli istituti superiori di Sansepolcro ed è aperto al pubblico” dichiara l’assessore Valeria Noferi “invitiamo la cittadinanza ad intervenire, per la qualità dell’oratore e per ricordare insieme la figura di una donna con la D maiuscola”.
