CITTA DI CASTELLO – Plauso e soddisfazione dalle istituzioni e comunità di Città di Castello dove dal 10 settembre del 2022 è cittadino onorario. Il sindaco ha espresso la più sincera soddisfazione e plauso per l’importante riconoscimento: “anche noi come ha detto il Presidente Mattarella siamo fans del maestro Mollica”
Vincenzo Mollica, vincitore del “David speciale 2024” : plauso e soddisfazione dalle istituzioni e dalla comunità di Città di Castello dove dal 10 settembre del 2022 è cittadino onorario. Il sindaco ha espresso oggi a nome di tutta la comunità locale la più sincera soddisfazione e plauso per l’importante riconoscimento al “genio” del giornalismo, del cinema, dell’arte e della cultura, che è stato ufficializzato questa mattina al Quirinale, alla presenza del Presidente della Repubblica, Sergio Mattarella, nell’ambito della presentazione dei candidati ai Premi “David di Donatello” per l’anno 2024. La cerimonia, condotta da Teresa Mannino, è stata aperta dalla proiezione di un video realizzato da Rai Cultura a cui è seguito l’intervento di Piera Detassis, Presidente e Direttore Artistico dell’Accademia del Cinema Italiano – Premi David di Donatello. La conduttrice ha intervistato i vincitori del David alla carriera, Milena Vukotic e Giorgio Moroder e il vincitore del David speciale 2024, Vincenzo Mollica. “Anche noi con orgoglio facciamo proprie le parole del Presidente della Repubblica, Sergio Mattarella, che ha affermato di essere un fan di Vincenzo Mollica: anche noi lo siamo da sempre con stima e amicizia e grande senso di gratitudine per la nostra città e le sue manifestazioni culturali ed artistiche come la Mostra del Fumetto di cui è stato fin dall’inizio ideatore ed ispiratore assieme al presidente Gianfranco Bellini e tutto il suo staff”, ha dichiarato il sindaco. Dal 10 Settembre 2022, Vincenzo Mollica è cittadino onorario di Città di Castello la città “rinascimentale” di Alberto Burri e Monica Bellucci. Il conferimento ufficiale dell’onorificenza al “maestro” del giornalismo, dell’arte, del cinema, dello spettacolo e del fumetto si era svolto nella sala consiliare, dove, il 28 luglio 2022 con votazione unanime dei presenti, il massimo consesso cittadino è stato chiamato a votare una proposta di delibera, frutto di un dettagliato lavoro preparatorio della Commissione Affari Istituzionali che ha recepito l’indicazione formulata, a nome dell’Associazione Amici del Fumetto di Città di Castello, dal Presidente, Gianfranco Bellini. “Per aver costantemente contribuito a diffondere l’immagine della città e delle sue eccellenze culturali e aver concorso, fin dalle prime edizioni, alla diffusione e conoscenza della mostra del Fumetto “Tiferno Comics” a livello nazionale. Con gratitudine e stima”, così recitava la motivazione letta dal sindaco di Citta’ di Castello ed impressa dietro alla targa con i sigilli della città che è stata consegnata a Mollica.
