Servizio Civile Universale. La scuola di Arti e Mestieri “G.O. Bufalini” laboratorio di progetti innovativi che da danno la possibilità a 80 volontari di iniziare un percorso di vita e professionale nei 40, fra enti e associazioni sociali, sportive, professionali e culturali in Umbria, Toscana e nelle Marche, che hanno aderito al “maxi-progetto” del centro. Oltre che nei comuni, nei centri di formazione professionale i giovani aspiranti ad un posto di servizio civile regolarmente retribuito hanno trovato una sede in una scuola calcio di umbria, marche e toscana, in una associazione culturale, cooperative sociali. Il progetto è davvero imponente nei numeri e nella proposta, (cultura, sport, educazione dei minori e animazione per gli anziani). Il servizio civile universale è la scelta volontaria di dedicare fino a un anno della propria vita al servizio di difesa, non armata e non violenta, della Patria, all’educazione, alla pace tra i popoli e alla promozione dei valori fondativi della Repubblica italiana, attraverso azioni per le comunità e per il territorio. Le ragazze e i ragazzi che hanno scelto i progetti presentati dalla Scuola di Arti e Mestieri Bufalini hanno iniziato il loro percorso con il saluto del Presidente del Cda dell’Asp, Giovanni Granci e con le prime ore di formazione sulla sicurezza, affidate al docente Lorenzo Perioli. “Siamo contenti che questi 80 ragazzi tra i 18 e i 28 anni abbiano scelto i nostri progetti e aderito alle nostre proposte – ha dichiarato il presidente Granci – quest’anno gli enti che hanno aderito alla nostra rete e che ospiteranno i volontari non sono solo umbri, ma anche marchigiani e toscani. Quello che auguro alle ragazze e ai ragazzi e’ di usare questo anno per crescere e per fare un’esperienza di cittadinanza attiva, ma con costanza e determinazione”. I progetti approvati dal Dipartimento Nazionale Servizio Civile alla Scuola Bufalini sono infatti dislocati tra Umbria, Marche e Toscana e riguardano diversi ambiti. Coinvolgono infatti associazioni sportive, dal calcio, al rugby alla pallavolo alla pallacanestro e poi agenzie formative e scuole dell’infanzia e primarie, comuni con diversi servizi, dalla cultura alla protezione civile. I giovani che hanno aderito hanno un’età media di 23 anni con un aumento delle ragazze e di coloro che frequentano l’ultimo anno della scuola superiore e che quindi affronteranno l’esame di diploma svolgendo anche il loro servizio come volontari. Durante i 12 mesi di servizio i volontari ricevono una indennità mensile, e oltre a svolgere le attività previste presso gli enti di accoglienza, frequenteranno anche oltre 100 ore di formazione, dedicata alla conoscenza del servizio civile alla evoluzione storica, alla sicurezza, alla animazione sociale, ma anche dedicate all’orientamento al lavoro con ore di mentoring anche individuali, perche’ il servizio civile e’ un’occasione utile per affacciarsi al mondo del lavoro. “Una delle grandi novita’ di quest’anno e che riteniamo un’occasione eccezionale per le ragazze e i ragazzi che termineranno i 12 mesi e’ costituita dalla possibilità di accedere alla riserva del 15% dei posti disponibili nei concorsi pubblici grazie al servizio che prestano – ha precisato il direttore Marco Menichetti – quindi oltre a fare un’esperienza pratica e formativa questi ragazzi stanno seminando per il proprio futuro lavorativo”.
