SANSEPOLCRO – Nel consiglio comunale di giovedì 27 giugno fra i punti inseriti all’ordine del giorno dei lavori l’approvazione delle tariffe relative a raccolta e smaltimento rifiuti per l’anno 2024. “L’assise sarà chiamata ad approvare le tariffe” spiega l’assessore al bilancio Alessandro Rivi “Purtroppo dobbiamo registrare un aumento delle stesse del 5,87%.
Aumento essenzialmente dovuto alla metodologia con cui viene calcolato il Piano Economico Finanziario comunale di ogni municipalità appartenente all’Ato Toscana Sud che ha come gestore Sei Toscana. Si tratta del metodo Arera che basa la formazione del PEF per l’anno in corso sui dati del PEF approvato due anni prima, nel 2022, con marcata incidenza dell’inflazione maturata nell’ultimo biennio”. “Occorre far presente che la nostra amministrazione comunale” dichiara il consigliere delegato ad ambiente e rifiuti, Alessandro Bandini “è stata tra le poche a votare contro l’approvazione di questo PEF, contro questo aumento incondizionato e scarsamente comprensibile perché basato su elementi che sfuggono al nostro diretto controllo e non si ripercuote positivamente sul miglioramento del servizio offerto”. “La nostra amministrazione, potendo andare ad incidere sul coefficiente di produttività permesso dal metodo Arera” aggiunge l’assessore Rivi “ha deciso di spalmare in maniera omogenea questo aumento in modo da non penalizzare in maniera importante determinate categorie, quelle in sostanza più deboli e le famiglie numerose, così come responsabilmente fatto del resto negli anni scorsi. A maggior garanzia sarà predisposto un apposito bando che ha l’obiettivo di sgravare i soggetti più fragili e i nuclei familiari più bisognosi dall’aumento delle tariffe che abbiamo dovuto subire nonostante la nostra contrarietà”.
