La missione in corso sul K2 è organizzata dall’Istituto di scienze polari del Consiglio nazionale delle ricerche e dall’Università Ca’ Foscari Venezia, entrambi enti co-fondatori della Ice Memory Foundation, assieme a EvK2CNR, con il supporto della Environmental Protection Agency del Gilgit-Baltistan, Fondazione Università Ca’ Foscari Venezia, con il contributo del Club alpino italiano e del Ministero dell’Università e della Ricerca.
