I cartelloni dedicati a Città di Castello sono due: nella prima piazzola sulla corsia nord della E45 dopo l’ingresso di Umbertide si possono ammirare le opere d’arte in mostra negli Ex Seccatoi del Tabacco di Alberto Burri, mentre nei prossimi giorni, appena le operazioni di allestimento saranno terminate, nell’ultima piazzola lungo la corsia sud prima dell’uscita per Città di Castello sarà visibile la Pinacoteca comunale. “Per questo progetto Città di Castello ha scelto il binomio Rinascimento-contemporaneità nel segno di Raffaello e Alberto Burri, in linea con la campagna promozionale triennale lanciata nel 2023 all’Aeroporto internazionale Santa Francesco di Assisi di Perugia”, commentano il sindaco Luca Secondi e l’assessore al Commercio e al Turismo Letizia Guerri, evidenziando la collaborazione confermata anche in questa occasione con la Fondazione Palazzo Albizzini Collezione Burri. “Come per uno degli scali leader in Europa per flusso di passeggeri, dove per tre anni Città di Castello sarà la prima città dell’Umbria che i turisti potranno ammirare grazie alle gigantografie posizionate nel gate degli arrivi – osservano Secondi e Guerri – anche lungo una delle direttrici stradali principali della Penisola, che ci collega al resto d’Europa, l’unicità di Città di Castello sarà sottolineata da cartelloni promozionali che rendono immediatamente percepibile e appetibile l’unicità della nostra città. Per questo ringraziamo la sinergia tra tutti i livelli istituzionali che ha reso possibile questa importante campagna promozionale”. Il progetto si inserisce nell’ambito del piano di riqualificazione e potenziamento della E45 promosso da Anas. Il gruppo di lavoro tecnico incaricato dalla Regione ha selezionato immagini e didascalie che sono state proposte dai Comuni direttamente interessati dal progetto. I cartelli turistici saranno 29 in totale e saranno istallati lungo tutto il tratto umbro della E45.
