Successo e pubblico per l’evento dei “Concerti in Piazza Gabriotti” che si è tenuto lo scorso 2 agosto, che ha visto come protagonista la scena rock/metal emergente dell’Umbria e Toscana. “RayLeaf”, “Pensieri oltre” e “Astra arcana” hanno portato sul palco la loro personalità e cifra stilistica con enorme passione e dedizione. Il pubblico ha risposto con un’energia travolgente e vivace che ha trascinato tutti i presenti creando un ambiente positivo di divertimento e serenità all’insegna del Rock e della musica in toto. “Rock’n’piazza” è riuscito a riportare in piazza a Castello, dopo 2 anni dalla prima edizione, la musica emergente che è fatta di dedizione, idee e passione e molte volte rimane sotto i radar faticando ad emergere.
“Questo tipo di evento è molto importante per dare più visibilità ai gruppi, cercando di far passare messaggi, idee e sensazioni a più gente possibile, attraverso il linguaggio universale della musica che ci accomuna nell’atto dell’ascolto e ci unisce attraverso l’emozione e il piacere”, si legge in una nota. “Rock’n’piazza” si è fatto carico di questa filosofia mettendosi in gioco e portando una line up di musicisti e artisti che sono riusciti a intrattenere qualsiasi tipo di pubblico con un enorme amore e devozione per la musica creando un clima positivo e emotivo molto importante. Con i RayLeaf (band di Città di Castello) abbiamo toccato panorami sonori onirici e lontani, ma allo stesso tempo profondi e introspettivi lasciandoci trasportare dai suoni melodici, massici e oscuri. Un viaggio narrato, una storia, come un poema che ci scava nel profondo e ci trascina al cospetto dell’infinito, dove per trovare noi stessi bisogna prima perdere tutto ciò che siamo. Metal ricercato, personale e molto suggestivo. I Pensieri oltre (band di Arezzo) invece hanno portato un enorme esperienza e un enorme attitudine che da 30 anni stanno mantenendo con estrema serietà. Musica cupa, violenta che non lascia spazio al colore e alle illusioni, testi politicamente molto impegnati che vanno a mandare messaggi di libertà dalle istituzioni e di presa di coscienza davanti ad un mondo che ci vuole tutti uguali e ci illude con la gratificazione istantanea del consumismo. Una band di culto, indipendente che va contro tutto e tutti senza mai perdere coerenza e attitudine. Concludiamo la line up con gli “Astra Arcana” di Bastia Umbra e Montone. Questi ragazzi hanno dimostrato di essere una band di altissimo livello nella scena umbra, la vittoria al primo posto del contest delle band emergenti di “Umbria che spacca” (PG) ne è la conferma. Con il loro ultimo album la band propone uno stile molto moderno e ricercato, con una perizia compositiva da non sottovalutare: canzoni sincopate, stratificate e fortemente melodiche. Prendono gli insegnamenti delle band più importanti della scena progressive Rock come “porcupine tree”, “Opeth” ma anche “King Crimson” e “Steven Wilson” trasformandosi ogni volta, sempre alla ricerca di nuovi stili e idee differenti.
