Soddisferemo in questo modo tutte le esigenze dei giovani utenti iscritti agli istituti cittadini del primo ciclo di istruzione e delle loro famiglie, in accordo con i dirigenti scolastici, che hanno garantito uniformità nella scelta di anticipare l’inizio delle lezioni”, precisano Secondi e Guerri. “Anche quest’anno l’amministrazione comunale investirà importanti risorse sulla scuola per l’obiettivo prioritario di assicurare ai nostri giovani la possibilità di studiare in ambienti educativi moderni e sicuri, uno sforzo che comporterà inevitabilmente qualche sacrificio e qualche disagio. Nell’anno scolastico 2024-2025 gli istituti statali e paritari di Città di Castello accoglieranno 815 allievi dell’infanzia, 1.553studenti della primaria, 1.032 della secondaria di primo grado e 2.291 della secondaria di secondo grado. In base alle iscrizioni ancora parziali e non definitive raccolte, il Comune assicurerà attraverso il C.A.R.A.T. il servizio di trasporto scolastico ordinario a 300 studenti più alcune navette integrate gratuite per 87 bambini e ragazzi che risiedono in prossimità degli istituti scolastici trasferiti per i lavori in corso: 72 iscritti alla scuola primaria Dante Alighieri e 15 iscritti alla scuola primaria di Badia Petroia. Per consentire la demolizione e la ricostruzione dell’attuale sede, con un investimento da 12 milioni 293.500 euro (finanziato dal PNRR, dal Fondo nazionale per le opere indifferibili, dal conto termico GSE e dal Comune di Città di Castello), saranno più di 300 gli iscritti della Dante Alighieri che si trasferiranno in sedi alternative: tre classi, per complessivi 73 allievi, nelle strutture polivalenti del quartiere Madonna del Latte e i restanti nelle aule della scuola Giovanni Pascoli.
