PIETRALUNGA – L’Amministrazione comunale di Pietralunga, capeggiata dal suo Sindaco Dott. Francesco Rizzuti con il vicesindaco Chiara Ruggeri e l’assessore Federica Radicchi, mercoledì 11 settembre ha calorosamente accolto la delegazione istituzionale del Comune gemellato di Perenchies nella Sala della Giunta del Palazzo Comunale.
Una visita per rinsaldare un gemellaggio che dura da oltre 30 anni, non a caso con un paese francese che vanta nei suoi registri dell’anagrafe ex cittadini pietralunghesi, figli di emigranti che in tempi difficili emigrarono per trovare lavoro, saldando ancora oggi un importante rapporto tra le due cittadine. Pérenchies è comune francese di 8.039 abitanti situato nel dipartimento del Nord nella regione dell’Alta Francia. Il suo Sindaco Karim LOUZANI ha particolarmente significato la sua visita, anticipando la sua venuta con una lettera dove esprime il piacere di conoscere il nuovo Sindaco e la nuova amministrazione, certo di nuovi e futuri impegni da strutturarsi in prossimi incontri e scambi ufficiali, previsti già per il 2025. Nella giornata di venerdì 13 settembre, seguirà subito l’incontro delle due Amministrazioni con le Scuole di Pietralunga, per riattivare progetti di Erasmus, come già nel passato erano stati attivati con gli studenti provenienti dal College de Sainte Marie de Perenchies e dal College du Sacré Coeur di Halluin, per riproporre settimane di scambio tra le scuole e famiglie dei rispettivi territori. Esperienze di confronto che vanno coltivate, maturate, ad esempio di una civiltà che apre le sue porte alla conoscenza e all’interazione, produttiva sin dai banchi di scuola, in considerazione delle rispettive giovani generazioni, sempre più attente al cambiamento, all’innovazione e, dunque, alla formazione, che l’Amministrazione pietralunghese tiene fortemente nei suoi primi obiettivi. Presenti anche il vice-Sindaco M.Bernard PENET e il responsabile del gemellaggio, Daniel BALLOY, da parte del comune francese. Il loro cortese gesto, accolto con entusiasmo dall’amministrazione comunale, ha visto la partecipazione di alcuni compaesani invitati dalla stessa delegazione di Pérenchies nel segno di rapporti di amicizia e legami maturati negli anni, tali da fare nascere immediatamente la volontà di strutturarlo in programmi fattivi, perché questo gemellaggio riprenda vigore più forte di prima, vista la comunione di intenti dei rispettivi Primi Cittadini Sindaci così ufficializzata.
