Arezzo Cuore è stato premiato ieri in Senato per i 10 anni di attività nella diffusione delle manovre di rianimazione ed uso del defibrillatore nelle scuole. ll riconoscimento è stato consegnato nella Sala Capitolare del Senato della Repubblica nell’ambito del convegno “La morte cardiaca improvvisa, attuazione della legge 116 per la diffusione dei defibrillatori, tutti possono usare un DAE, realtà e proposte”, che si è svolto alla presenza di cariche dello Stato, dell’Arma dei Carabinieri, della Marina Militare e della Polizia di Stato. Riconoscimento conferito per la diffusione dell’uso del DAE e delle manovre di rianimazione: formati oltre 18mila studenti
L’iniziativa è stata organizzata dall’Associazione Italiana Cuore e Rianimazione Lorenzo Greco Onlus.
Per Arezzo Cuore è stata premiata una delegazione che ha partecipato al progetto, composta da Thomas Tori, operatore del 118 di Arezzo, la professoressa Antonella Bianchi in rappresentanza del Provveditorato agli Studi della provincia di Arezzo, e Antonio Cropano del Centro di Formazione Etrusco. L’attestato di riconoscimento al merito, come “Messaggeri del Cuore” è “stato assegnato “per l’impegno decennale con il Progetto Arezzo Cuore che ha contribuito a diffondere nelle scuole attraverso gli insegnanti-istruttori il primo soccorso e l’uso del defibrillatore”.
Grazie al progetto Arezzo Cuore in questi 10 anni sono stati formati 18.343 studenti. Attualmente sono 310 i docenti in grado di insegnare le manovre di rianimazione e l’utilizzo del DAE agli studenti. Numeri importanti che hanno consentito il salvataggio di decine di persone da chi ha ricevuto una formazione specifica durante il percorso scolastico. “Ringrazio il Presidente dell’Associazione Italiana Cuore e Rianimazione Lorenzo Greco Marcello Segre per l’invito e per l’inaspettato riconoscimento che abbiamo accettato con il cuore – sottolinea Thomas Tori -. Abbiamo svolto un lavoro importante in questi anni nelle scuole della Provincia di Arezzo, un lavoro che ha dato i suoi frutti con tantissimi interventi salva vita sul territorio”. “È fondamentale diffondere i valori e la cultura della sicurezza ed è importante cominciare dalle scuole – spiega Simone Nocentini, responsabile di Area Dipartimentale Emergenza territoriale 118 -. Il progetto, che abbiamo sostenuto e di cui ringraziamo i nostri partner in questo cammino, è un fiore all’occhiello per la provincia di Arezzo, e il premio ci rende particolarmente orgogliosi”.
