Circa 200 i giovani ciclisti che hanno partecipato al 1° TROFEO REZZESI – Memorial Renato Amantini, prova a cronometro per le categorie Under 23, Juniores M/F, Allievi M/F ed Esordienti M/F, valido anche come Campionato Regionale Umbro. La gara si è svolta ieri a Città di Castello grazie all’organizzazione della A.S.D. SPORT EVENT CYCLING guidata dal presidente Enzo Amantini e alla passione della famiglia Rezzesi capitanata da Pietro e dell’azienda diretta dal figlio Alessandro, con il patrocinio della Regione Umbria, della Provincia di Perugia, dei comuni di Città di Castello, Citerna e San Giustino e con il sostegno di importanti sponsor.

Una bella festa di sport che ha riproposto, in territorio tifernate, una competizione ciclistica di ottimo livello, dedicata a Renato Amantini, compianto direttore sportivo che dal 1974 al 1989 guidò verso tante prestigiose vittorie il Gruppo Sportivo Rezzesi del patron Pietro Rezzesi.
