Complice la bella giornata questa mattina si sono presentati in tanti all’appuntamento con la decima edizione della manifestazione “Apecchiese tranquilla – SR257 Revisited” organizzata dalla associazione “FERRO E Motus” al fine di perseguire “gli obiettivi di valorizzare la strada e fare in modo che non sia più teatro di incidenti”

Complice la bella giornata questa mattina si sono presentati in tanti all’appuntamento con la decima edizione della manifestazione “Apecchiese tranquilla – SR257 Revisited” organizzata dalla associazione “FERRO E Motus” al fine di perseguire “gli obiettivi di valorizzare la strada e fare in modo che non sia più teatro di incidenti, di sensibilizzare i motociclisti, e non solo, nel condurre una guida in sicurezza secondo i dettami del codice della strada oltre che le Amministrazioni competenti a migliorare la manutenzione del fondo stradale, la segnaletica e i dispositivi di sicurezza”. Una grande partecipazione che sta a testimoniare la condivisione di un messaggio concreto di chi frequenta questo suggestivo passo appenninico , una strada piena di panorami e località bellissime da percorrere per la sua tortuosa e meravigliosa striscia di asfalto purtroppo troppe volte teatro di brutti incidenti per colpa della velocità, che oggi , è bandita. Tutti i centauri partecipanti, con in testa il Presidente dell’associazione, Matteo Barbagli, hanno raggiunto Fossombrone a velocità dettata dal codice stradale. Questo dimostra che sono molti coloro che preferiscono viaggiare in sicurezza godendosi il viaggio senza mettere a repentaglio la propria e la altrui incolumità. “Ferro E Motus che organizza da 10 anni questo evento – ha precisato Barbagli – raccoglie firme per presentare richieste di messa in sicurezza della strada richieste che in passato sono state accolte dalle istituzioni che hanno migliorato notevolmente il manto stradale, ora la petizione chiede a gran voce l’istallazione delle barriere basse “salvamotociclisti”. Continua inoltre l’iniziativa hold fast per la raccolta fondi da destinare alla AACC per la lotta contro il cancro progetto che ha già ottenuto molto grazie alla generosità dei motociclisti che partecipano agli eventi che organizziamo”. Una marcia in più in nome della solidarietà per rafforzare la mobilitazione sulla problematica di cui il sodalizio tifernate è protagonista ogni anno con il raduno motociclistico “The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride”, che nel 2024 ha permesso di mettere insieme un’importante donazione per l’acquisto di macchinari diagnostici per l’ospedale di Città di Castello. “Da dieci anni l’associazione riesce nell’intento, con tanta passione vissuta, condivisa e trasmessa, di riunire tanti motociclisti del territorio che si ritrovano lungo l’Apecchiese per un momento né rituale, né scontato, ma profondamente sentito, con il quale gli utenti della strada più sensibili si mettono insieme per sostenere la causa della sicurezza stradale e promuovere il benessere delle persone che vivono una condizione di malattia piuttosto diffusa anche nella nostra realtà”, hanno commentano gli assessori allo Sport, RiccardoCarletti, e alla Viabilità, RodolfoBraccalenti, da sempre al fianco dei partenti della manifestazione. “Tra i tanti motociclisti che partecipano all’evento abbiamo percepito la serietà e la convinzione di un impegno nel nome della sicurezza stradale e della salute pubblica che condividiamo e al quale abbiamo anche quest’anno confermato il nostro sostegno”, hanno concluso gli amministratori comunali, nel ringraziare il presidente, Matteo Barbagli, tutti gli appartenenti all’Associazione FERRO E Motus per “la disponibilità a rinnovare con il proprio protagonismo un’iniziativa che patrociniamo con entusiasmo per lanciare un messaggio positivo e aiutare il prossimo”: un grazie sentito alle Forze dell’Ordine e di Polizia, la Polizia Locale da sempre impegnati in maniera sinergica nel controllo della strada del “mare” tanto cara ai tifernati e non solo”. Al via della manifestazione anche il presidente dell’ AACC, (Associazione altotevere contro il cancro) Italo Cesarotti, che ha ringraziato gli organizzatori per lo spirito di solidarietà che da sempre caratterizza questa ed altre iniziative. La strada regionale 257 Apecchiese è l’itinerario di collegamento interregionale umbro-marchigiano che, con 53 chilometri di lunghezza, si estende da Città di Castello ad Acqualagna, passando per Apecchio e Piobbico, in Provincia di Pesaro-Urbino. Il tratto umbro, ricadente interamente sul territorio del comune di Città di Castello, è di circa 20 chilometri ed è di competenza della Regione Umbria, ma in gestione alla Provincia di Perugia. La strada è tradizionalmente molto transitata, soprattutto dai motociclisti, perché è caratterizzata da una gran quantità di curve, quasi da record in rapporto ai chilometri totali. Sono infatti 141 le curve rilevate e rese note dai tecnici della Provincia di Perugia, alle quali si aggiungono 12 rettifili, alcuni dei quali in semicurva. Lungo il percorso vengono abitualmente condotti controlli stradali in coordinamento tra i prefetti e i questori di Perugia e Pesaro, con appositi servizi effettuati da pattuglie delle forze dell’ordine e delle polizie locali di Città di Castello, Apecchio, Piobbico e Acqualagna.
