Con oltre 570.000 euro di risorse messe a disposizione dell’amministrazione comunale nel prossimo triennio New Factory e Lab2030 in via Masaccio, Fuori Centro in largo I Maggio: tre centri giovani che, nel triennio cominciato nel 2021, hanno determinato il cambio di marcia nelle politiche giovanili del Comune di Arezzo.
Dal 2024 al 2027, ci sarà un restyling che porterà a una triade parzialmente rivista: resta in via Masaccio il Basement Factory gestito da Consorzio COOB con i partner Circolo Baobab e Associazione D.O.G. Operatori di Strada, confermato anche Fuori Centro in largo I Maggio gestito da I Care Arezzo, Semprepositivi e Cooperativa Progetto 5, a Lab2030 subentra Malpighi Hub in via Fiorentina gestito da Arezzo che Spacca e Farrago”. Esordisce così l’assessore alle politiche giovanili Federico Scapecchi nel presentare il nuovo orizzonte dei centri giovani comunali. Gli fa eco il vicesindaco Lucia Tanti: “desidero sottolineare come in questi anni le politiche giovanili siano diventate centrali per lo sviluppo dei servizi alla persona e la coesione sociale: oltre all’assessorato di riferimento, emerge il concetto di fondo di Arezzo città sicura e coesa che ci guida da anni e che non è un semplice slogan ma un fil rouge di grande sostanza e di coinvolgimento trasversale. Qui non c’è solo una capacità d’intercettare finanziamenti ministeriali ma un sistema che restituisce risposte complessive e investimenti strategici. Senza dimenticare l’imprescindibile elemento di passione delle realtà giovanili che permette di fare la differenza tra l’elaborazione di un’idea e la sua messa in pratica”. Capitolo investimenti: “il Comune di Arezzo – ricorda Scapecchi – farà uno sforzo importante, per Basement Factory erogando direttamente 91.157 euro a cui andranno sommate altre voci di contributo indiretto come l’affitto dei locali, il pagamento delle utenze, il cofinanziamento dei partner, la valorizzazione del volontariato. Tutto questo porterà il totale a raggiungere i 221.342 euro. Stesso discorso per Malpighi Hub che fra contributi diretti e indiretti beneficerà di 189.345 euro e Fuori Centro di 100.295. Tre centri, tre anni, oltre mezzo milione di euro. Direi che possiamo essere soddisfatti. E soddisfatto è certamente il mondo giovanile aretino che ha gli spazi che merita e li può gestire in autonomia”. E non è finita perché spunta un quarto centro, erede del Lab2030 negli stessi locali di quest’ultimo. Si tratta del progetto biennale “Il modello Cicciottà”, del Circolo Baobab, presentato alla Presidenza del Consiglio dei Ministri – Dipartimento per le Politiche della Famiglia, finanziato con un contributo di 113.582 euro e con il Comune di Arezzo nel ruolo di partner. Ci sarà inoltre un impegno economico da parte dell’amministrazione, sempre giocato sulla somma tra contributi diretti e indiretti, pari a 65.000 euro che servirà a finanziare alcune attività aggiuntive come il Calciosociale al colle del Pionta e l’acquisto di materiali per i laboratori rivolti a bambini e ragazzi nel periodo settembre 2024/ottobre 2026. Il Calciosociale è uno strumento educativo che permette di avvicinare i giovani più emarginati che vengono inseriti in un percorso formativo, dove imparano un modo di vivere basato sui principi di inclusione, legalità, uguaglianza, rispetto del giocatore come individuo nella sua completezza. Ad Arezzo hanno già aderito alla proposta 40 adolescenti dagli 11 ai 16 anni che potrebbero formare almeno 4 squadre da calciotto. Ma l’utenza del progetto va dai 3 ai 20 anni con percorsi per i più piccoli e i più grandi segnalati dagli assistenti sociali. I percorsi coinvolgono, tra le altre cose, giochi, teatro, una radio web, iniziano a scuola e proseguono al Lab. E poi, la Cicciottà vera e propria dove s’imparano le “regole” della cittadinanza globale. “Dunque – concludono Scapecchi e Tanti – se al tavolo caliamo non il tris ma il poker, le risorse complessive investite su quattro centri saranno, nel triennio, 575.883 euro. Scusate del poco”.

Insomma, ce n’è davvero per tutti i gusti e le età.
