Il programma degli eventi si è aperto nella giornata odierna, mentre la ciclostorica sarà domenica 20 ottobre. Ad oggi, già quasi 800 gli iscritti Tutto pronto ad Anghiari per l’edizione 2024 de L’Intrepida. La cicloturistica non competitiva su bici d’epoca si svolgerà domenica 20 ottobre con partenza alle ore 8:45 da Piazza Baldaccio, ma il programma delle iniziative è iniziato, eccezionalmente, nella giornata odierna con il primo incontro de “La Bici mi racconta”, laboratori di scrittura autobiografica per studenti delle classi IV e V della Scuola Primaria di Anghiari in collaborazione con la Libera Università dell’Autobiografia e Istituto Comprensivo di Anghiari e Monterchi.
Domani mattina al Teatro di Anghiari “Intrepidi a Scuola”, dedicato ai valori della Carta Etica dello Sport e rivolto agli studenti della Scuola Secondaria di Primo Grado, con il ciclista professionista Lorenzo Quartucci e Gioia Bartali, nipote del grande Gino. Evento in collaborazione con Istituto Comprensivo e Fondazione Progetto Valtiberina. Venerdì alle ore 21 “Aspettando L’Intrepida”, serata dedicata al ciclismo e alla sua storia al Teatro grazie alla collaborazione con la Fondazione Archivio Diaristico Nazionale di Pieve Santo Stefano. Saranno presenti il giornalista e scrittore Beppe Conti, l’ex professionista Michael Rogers e l’ex “corridora” Morena Tartagni. A loro sarà consegnato il Premio Intrepido 2024. Sabato la pedalata ciclo-gastronomica, le visite guidate, i mercatini d’epoca, L’Intrepidina per bambini, l’esposizione di bici di Moreno Bianchini e una festa a ritmo di musica con Niki Dj e ottimo cibo presso lo stand gastronomico dell’Associazione Pro-Anghiari. Il giorno clou sarà domenica 20 ottobre con l’arrivo dei ciclisti alle prime luci dell’alba, l’attesa per il via, le note dell’Inno Nazionale Italiano suonate dalla Banda della Filarmonica P. Mascagni e alle 8:45 in punto la partenza degli intrepidi che poi animeranno i tre percorsi, pedalando sulle strade bianche della Battaglia di Anghiari, ammirando paesaggi meravigliosi, gustando le prelibatezze dei ristori d’epoca (in tutto otto), condividendo assieme a tanti amici la passione per il ciclismo storico. L’Intrepida è un’esperienza da vivere di persona che ogni anno rinnova la sua magia. Il numero degli ISCRITTI SI AVVICINA GIA’ A QUOTA 800, un dato di grande spessore, ma non definitivo, visto che CI SI PUO’ ANCORA ISCRIVERE online fino a giovedì alle ore 14:00 su www.lintrepida.com e nelle giornate di venerdì e sabato di persona ad Anghiari presso la sede della Misericordia (nella parte bassa di Corso G. Matteotti). Domenica per chi non pedala c’è la possibilità di partecipare alla “Camminata con L’Intrepida” organizzata dalla sezione CAI di Sansepolcro, mentre alle ore 15:30 in Piazza IV Novembre si terrà la seconda edizione di “Barbology” (storie di barba), Concorso Hipster & Moustache.
Percorsi, regolamento e ristori
I percorsi de L’Intrepida saranno come sempre tre: corto da 42 km, lungo da 85 km e intrepido da 120 km. Tracciati spettacolari che permetteranno ai partecipanti di pedalare sulle strade che il 29 giugno 1440 furono teatro della Battaglia d’Anghiari, toccando paesi in cui sono nati Piero della Francesca e Michelangelo. Una cicloturistica d’epoca, in un luogo che profuma di storia. L’Intrepida è aperta per il percorso lungo e intrepido solo ai ciclisti muniti di tessera in regola o di certificato medico per attività sportiva agonistica per ciclismo come previsto dal regolamento, mentre per il percorso corto (da 42 km) è sufficiente il certificato medico per attività sportiva non agonistica. Tutti i ciclisti dovranno presentarsi con bicicletta storica da corsa costruita prima del 1987 (telaio in acciaio, leve del cambio sul tubo obliquo del telaio, pedali muniti di fermapiedi, cinghietti e passaggio dei fili dei freni esterno al manubrio) e abbigliamento consono. La cicloturistica è caratterizzata dai gustosi ristori d’epoca posizionati in alcuni degli scorci più affascinanti della Valtiberina: Pieve di Micciano, Ponte alla Piera, Castello di Galbino, Castello di Sorci, Felcino Nero, Cagnano, Lippiano, Citerna. In questi splendidi luoghi gli “intrepidi” potranno rifocillarsi e gustare le prelibatezze del territorio: dai crostini neri toscani ai dolci della tradizione anghiarese passando per la polenta, dall’acqua al vino rosso e al classico vinsanto. VI ASPETTIAMO AD ANGHIARI PER VIVERE OGNI ATTIMO DE L’INTREPIDA 2024, dodicesimo atto di un’esperienza imperdibile, in uno dei Borghi più belli d’Italia (Associazione di cui L’Intrepida ha il patrocinio diretto), tra sport, storia, cultura, paesaggi bellissimi, eccellenze gastronomiche, ma soprattutto condivisione, divertimento e amicizia. Domenica 20 ottobre il fascino della storia e quello del cicloturismo d’epoca si fonderanno infatti in una sola, ma grande manifestazione. “Prendi la tua vecchia bicicletta allora, vestiti senza tempo e pedala dentro la storia… Stavolta non bisogna essere soldati, ma intrepidi ciclisti”.
