Grande successo agli Illuminati per l’omaggio alla baronessa Hallgarten Franchetti” Grande successo per il concerto della Corale Marietta Alboni, prodotto dalla Fondazione Villa Montesca, che si è tenuto domenica 20 ottobre nel suggestivo scenario del Teatro degli Illuminati a Città di Castello, gremito di spettatori.
L’evento, dedicato ad Alice Hallgarten Franchetti, si inserisce nelle celebrazioni del 150° anniversario della sua nascita per onorare il suo straordinario contributo alla pedagogia e alla società nel suo complesso. Il programma musicale ha incluso l’esecuzione in prima assoluta del brano “Crossing the Bar” di Marcello Marini, tratto da una poesia di Tennyson, particolarmente cara ad Alice, tanto che ha voluto fosse incisa sulla sua tomba nel cimitero acattolico di Testaccio a Roma. Il concerto è stato supportato dal Comitato per le celebrazioni composto da Fondazione Villa Montesca, Regione Umbria, Comune di Città di Castello e Tela Umbra. Ieri pomeriggio abbiamo vissuto un momento di grande emozione durante il concerto dedicato alla nostra Alice. Ringraziamo tutti i presenti che hanno apprezzato lo spettacolo, ma anche tutti coloro che hanno permesso la realizzazione di questo progetto, a partire dai colleghi e le colleghe della Fondazione Villa Montesca, la straordinaria attrice Eleonora Giovanardi e la Corale Marietta Alboni. Un ringraziamento speciale va anche all’Assessore alla Cultura del Comune di Città di Castello Michela Botteghi che ha sostenuto l’evento sin dalla sua prima ideazione e all’ufficio Cultura che ne ha condiviso insieme a noi la realizzazione” ha commentato il Neopresidente della Fondazione, Riccardo Mancini.
