La scuola di Musica comunale di Città di Castello ospita il progetto Puccini and Friends in Valtiberina realizzato per il Centenario della morte di Giacomo Puccini 1924 -2024. Fa tappa dal 23 al 27 ottobre prossimo a Città di Castello il progetto dell’Associazione Puccini and Friends in Valtiberina che vede aprire la prossima settimana tifernate dedicata a Puccini proprio dalla Scuola di Musica comunale di Città di Castello intitolata al grande compositore toscano di cui quest’anno ricorre il Centenario della scomparsa.
È prevista l’apertura delle celebrazioni mercoledì 23 ottobre alle ore 17,30 con l’inaugurazione dell’esposizione collettiva di pittura di alcuni dei principali artisti valtiberini contemporanei. Dodici sono gli autori che hanno reso omaggio a Puccini con espressioni e linguaggi diversi, dodici come il numero delle opere intramontabili che il Maestro ci ha lasciato. La mostra rimarrà aperta fino a domenica 27 ottobre e si concluderà con un’originale spettacolo, alle ore 17, composto da parti narrative, accompagnate da canto e musica, dedicate alla vita e alla produzione operistica di Giacomo Puccini. L’invito è a partecipare al programma il cui obiettivo oltre che a ricordare uno dei piu’ importanti compositori italiani, che ha lasciato un’impronta fondamentale nel panorama della musica lirica ed è tutt’oggi apprezzato incredibilmente anche a livello internazionale, è anche quello di avvicinare alla grande musica coloro che meno ne conoscono i linguaggi attraverso l’utilizzo di espressioni, forme artistiche e musicali in grado di coinvolgere davvero tutti.
