L’amministrazione comunale investe sui giovani tifernati più meritevoli che si sono diplomati nelle scuole superiori: confermati anche per il 2024 i 10.000 euro per finanziare le 10 borse di studio da 1.000 euro ciascuna intitolate a Rossella Cestini e Sergio Polenzani L’amministrazione comunale di Città di Castello ha confermato anche per il 2024 l’investimento da 10.000 euro per finanziare con 1.000 euro

ciascuna le 10 borse di studio intitolate dall’ente alla memoria di Rossella Cestini e Sergio Polenzani. I riconoscimenti premieranno gli studenti tifernati più meritevoli che nell’anno scolastico 2023-2024 si sono diplomati nelle scuole secondarie di secondo grado statali e paritarie. Come nella prima edizione, i giovani prescelti saranno selezionati tra i candidati residenti nel territorio comunale di Città di Castello che avranno presentato apposita domanda. Le istanze potranno essere trasmesse esclusivamente online da mercoledì 30 ottobre a sabato 30 novembre 2024 a firma di uno dei genitori, di chi rappresenta legalmente il minore o dello studente stesso, se maggiorenne, compilando il modulo disponibile al link https://modulistica.comune.cittadicastello.pg.it/. Potranno concorrere tutti coloro che siano in possesso di un ISEE uguale o inferiore a 30.000 euro e abbiano concluso nell’anno scolastico 2023 – 2024 il secondo ciclo di istruzione presso le scuole secondarie di secondo grado statali o paritarie di durata dichiaratamente quinquennale, non abbiano ripetuto la classe frequentata e abbiano ottenuto una media dei voti conseguiti nei due precedenti anni scolastici (4a e 5a classe) non inferiore a 8,50/10. Al fine della definizione della graduatoria sarà valutato prioritariamente il merito scolastico e, a parità di merito, sarà data precedenza al candidato con l’ISEE più basso. “Ai giovani della nostra città che studiano e che ottengono i risultati migliori – sottolineano sindaco e assessorato ai Servizi Educativi – vogliamo far sentire che c’è un’amministrazione comunale che li segue, li apprezza, ha fiducia in loro e li premia con queste borse di studio per incoraggiarli a continuare a dare il meglio di se stessi e a raggiungere i propri obiettivi, considerando il sostegno al loro impegno nell’acquisizione di esperienze e competenze l’investimento più importante nel futuro della nostra comunità, nella formazione di cittadini consapevoli e responsabili che con il proprio sapere possano dare un contributo alla crescita della città”. “Fare tutto questo nel nome di Rossella Cestini e Sergio Polenzani – puntualizzano gli amministratori – significa tracciare una strada ben precisa davanti ai nostri ragazzi, che è quella dell’esempio di due figure che con la propria passione e il proprio lavoro hanno saputo lasciare un’impronta profonda nel mondo della scuola, con lo sguardo rivolto sempre al futuro dei giovani, ma hanno anche vissuto nella nostra comunità con spirito di servizio e impegno civile, aggiungendo preziosi mattoni alle sue fondamenta.
