SPECIALE CAMPAGNA DEDICATA ALLA DONAZIONE DI SANGUE NELL’AMBITO DELLE CELEBRAZIONI PER IL 250° ANNIVERSARIO DI FONDAZIONE DEL CORPO. Nell’ambito delle speciali iniziative celebrative del 250° Anniversario di fondazione del Corpo, il Comando Provinciale della Guardia di Finanza di Arezzo ha promosso, con l’Azienda Usl Toscana sud est, una campagna dedicata alla donazione di sangue ed emocomponenti da parte dei Finanzieri aretini.
L’iniziativa, in fase di completamento, ha visto la entusiastica partecipazione di ben 52 donatori.
Al fine di agevolare il più possibile l’adesione degli appartenenti al Corpo della provincia, è stato concordato con l’Azienda Usl Toscana sud est che le donazioni di sangue possano essere eseguite sia presso il Centro Emotrasfusionale dell’Ospedale “San Donato” di Arezzo che presso i Centri Emotrasfusionali dei presidi Ospedalieri della Provincia: “Ospedale La Fratta” a Cortona, “Ospedale del Casentino” a Bibbiena, “Ospedale del Valdarno La Gruccia” a Montevarchi e “Ospedale della Valtiberina” a Sansepolcro.
La campagna di donazione, promossa dal Comando Provinciale di Arezzo, in stretta sinergia con l’Azienda Usl Toscana sud est e il Centro Emotrasfusionale dell’Ospedale San Donato di Arezzo, testimonia ulteriormente, in questo speciale Anniversario, la vocazione sociale delle Fiamme Gialle al servizio della collettività, che si concretizza anche con la nutrita partecipazione a questa importante iniziativa solidaristica.
«Ringraziamo i finanzieri che con grande generosità hanno deciso di mobilitarsi in favore di questo nobile scopo – dichiara il Dott. Antonio D’Urso Direttore Generale Asl Toscana Sud Est -. Un ringraziamento speciale va al Colonnello Walter Mazzei per la sensibilità dimostrata verso una tematica così importante riuscendo a coinvolgere un così alto numero di militari. Un gesto che mi auguro possa essere seguito nei nostri territori: donare sangue permette di salvare vite e migliorare la qualità di vita delle persone che si affidano alle strutture del nostro sistema sanitario regionale».
«Il sangue donato nelle nostre strutture – precisa il Dott. Pietro Pantone, direttore UOC Immunoematologia e Trasfusionale PO Aretino e responsabile Area Dipartimentale Trasfusionale Asl Toscana Sud Est – non sarà utilizzato solamente per le urgenze chirurgiche, ma anche e soprattutto per la gestione e per il trattamento di pazienti cronici che necessitano di trasfusioni periodiche, come ad esempio i pazienti oncologici o talassemici. Ringrazio i militari della Guardia di Finanza per il grande gesto di generosità e spero che altri vogliano seguire il loro esempio perché di sangue ce n’è sempre bisogno».
Dichiara il Col. Walter Mazzei «L’impegno delle Fiamme Gialle aretine è quotidiano e costante nell’interesse della collettività, nello svolgimento dei compiti d’istituto demandati al Corpo. In questa particolare occasione si è voluto andare oltre al quotidiano per dare un gesto concreto di vicinanza al territorio, così da poter testimoniare il legame che ci unisce. Un grazie alla Direzione dell’Azienda Usl, ai finanzieri che hanno aderito all’iniziativa e a tutto lo staff del Centro trasfusionale di Arezzo, per aver reso possibile una donazione importante per tutti».
