Si conclude a L’Aquila la terza edizione di Cantiere Città, il percorso che il Ministero della Cultura – Servizio VI dell’ex Segretariato generale – la Fondazione Scuola dei beni e delle attività culturali dedicano alle città finaliste al titolo di Capitale italiana della Cultura, per consolidare le loro capacità progettuali e dare un futuro alle proposte che sono state ideate per la candidatura, anche in assenza del titolo.

Dal 13 al 15 novembre 2024 i rappresentanti di Alba, Agnone, Gaeta, Latina, Lucera, Maratea, Rimini, Treviso e dell’Unione dei Comuni della Valdichiana Senese – finaliste per l’edizione 2026 di Capitale italiana della Cultura – si riuniscono con la vincitrice del titolo L’Aquila per una riflessione collettiva su strategie e pratiche per lo sviluppo culturale del territorio.   “Il progetto Capitale italiana della Cultura non si esaurisce con l’assegnazione del titolo ad un’unica città. Cantiere Città rappresenta una tappa fondamentale nel percorso delle finaliste e della stessa vincitrice, verso la creazione di progetti culturali duraturi, in grado di incidere positivamente sulle comunità e sui territori. Questo programma, voluto dal Ministero della Cultura e realizzato con la Fondazione Scuola dei beni e delle attività culturali, offre alle città l’opportunità di consolidare le loro competenze e sviluppare strumenti di progettazione, promuovendo la cultura come leva per la crescita e la coesione sociale”, dichiara Mario Turetta, Capo del Dipartimento per le attività culturali (DiAC) del Ministero della Cultura. “Per il terzo anno, con Cantiere Città la Fondazione è al fianco delle amministrazioni cittadine per valorizzare il lavoro fatto nell’ideazione dei dossier di candidatura: le visioni, le energie creative, le relazioni e le riflessioni degli attori del territorio, con l’obiettivo di dare forza a progetti e strategie dei dossier e sostenere lo sviluppo dei territori a base culturale. L’esperienza conferma la funzione innovativa di Cantiere Città, la sua utilità e il suo valore strategico come laboratorio formativo che sostiene le città nell’idea di mettere la cultura al centro della propria visione di crescita e sviluppo”, dichiara Onofrio Cutaia, Commissario straordinario della Fondazione Scuola dei beni e delle attività culturali. All’ultimo appuntamento di Cantiere Città sono presenti Francesca Saccone (Dirigente del Servizio VI – Eventi, mostre e manifestazioni dell’ex Segretariato generale del Ministero della Cultura, responsabile del procedimento “Capitale italiana della Cultura”) e Francesca Neri (Responsabile dell’Area Progetti d’innovazione e complessi della Fondazione Scuola dei beni e delle attività culturali).  La terza edizione di Cantiere Città ha coinvolto i rappresentanti delle dieci città in oltre 80 ore di formazione, articolate in 2 masterclass in presenza e 9 approfondimenti online per un’azione di capacity building sui temi della progettazione di un piano di sviluppo della città a base culturale. A ogni città è stato poi dedicato un percorso di accompagnamento specifico in 3 workshop, con l’obiettivo di concretizzare una delle idee del dossier di candidatura a Capitale italiana della cultura. Nei tre giorni a L’Aquila, i rappresentanti delle città sono guidati da esperti coinvolti dalla Fondazione Scuola dei beni e delle attività culturali in un confronto sui temi della rigenerazione urbana, sulle strategie di sostenibilità dei progetti culturali, sui partenariati pubblico-privato. Nel programma anche due workshop sulla progettazione di festival di approfondimento culturale e sugli strumenti di fundraising, e un laboratorio sulla progettazione di servizi digitali per i luoghi della cultura. “Ci onora profondamente ospitare nella nostra città i rappresentanti delle città finaliste di Capitale italiana della Cultura per il 2026 nell’ambito di Cantiere Città, il percorso di condivisione, formazione e confronto per cui ringrazio gli illustri promotori. La proclamazione del capoluogo d’Abruzzo a Capitale italiana della Cultura per il 2026 rappresenta infatti una importantissima occasione di rilancio e di riscatto delle aree interne dell’Appennino centrale” così il sindaco dell’Aquila, Pierluigi Biondi. focus speciale è poi dedicato alle strategie di engagement dei giovani nella vita culturale della città e alle prossime tappe di Cantiere Città Junior Edition, l’iniziativa avviata quest’anno con i Comuni coinvolti in Cantiere Città con l’obiettivo di favorire la partecipazione attiva dei giovani alla progettazione culturale cittadina.
