Nel distretto di Sansepolcro, in via Santi di Tito 24, dal 4 novembre è infatti attivo un nuovo ambulatorio pediatrico aperto due giorni a settimana, il lunedì dalle 9.30 alle 13.30 e il mercoledì dalle 15.00 alle 19.00. Si tratta di un ambulatorio ad accesso libero che non necessita di prenotazioni tramite Cup. Un’ opportunità in più di cure non urgenti per venire incontro alle esigenze delle famiglie della Valtiberina in vista del periodo influenzale e dei virus stagionali. In questa prima fase l’ambulatorio avrà una durata di tre mesi, salvo proroghe. Nelle aree interne di Badia e Sestino è confermato l’accesso settimanale di un pediatra grazie al progetto assistenziale previsto per tali zone. L’ambulatorio è attivo il venerdì, dalle 10.00 alle 12.00. «Il nuovo ambulatorio, partito il 4 novembre, è frutto di scelte condivise per ottimizzare e migliorare la risposta ai nostri piccoli utenti – sottolinea il direttore di zona Distretto, Giampiero Luatti – Ringrazio le associazioni e i rappresentanti delle famiglie per averci supportato in questo percorso».«La presenza, due volte a settimana, di un pediatra per accessi non programmati e non urgenti è una risposta concreta ai bisogni di salute dei bambini e delle bambine della Valtiberina – sottolinea la direttrice sanitaria dell’Asl Toscana sud est, Assunta De Luca – L’obiettivo è venire incontro alle esigenze delle famiglie, implementando la risposta territoriale che da qualche mese è stata potenziata con l’attivazione del teleconsulto con gli specialisti dell’ospedale di Arezzo in caso di accessi in pronto soccorso che necessitano specifici approfondimenti».
