Con un disco e un EP all’attivo, nelle loro raccontano storie di esseri umani, cercano di interpretare la società provando a “frugare nelle tasche di vecchie giacche”, a osservare gli angoli delle stanze e delle strade, così da produrre delle immagini poetiche ma reali delle persone. “Cavallo a dondolo è una canzone pop che nasce come una filastrocca per bambini, estremamente semplice e orecchiabile nella melodia e nell’armonia -dichiarano – ma al tempo stesso ricca di concetti e di immagini che ricordano all’ascoltatore l’importanza di esprimere il senso artistico presente in ognuno di noi, anche nei luoghi di lavoro o semplicemente con le persone a cui vogliamo bene”. Cavallo a dondolo è un elogio alle piccole cose, alla fantasia e all’importanza della vita quotidiana dove si creano degli spettacoli che non dobbiamo perderci e solo conservando l’ingenuità dei bambini avremo la capacità di coglierne la bellezza. Le sonorità passano agilmente dal Folk al Pop, con motivi orecchiabili e trascinanti. Grazie ai diversi background musicali dei componenti, all’esperienza data dal grande numero di concerti live eseguiti e al feeling dentro e fuori dal palco, il progetto riesce a trasmettere al pubblico sia la profondità sia la leggerezza insite nei brani, facendo ballare e riflettere allo stesso tempo le persone che ascoltano. La Compagnia Scapestrati da più di dieci anni si esibisce in festival e locali di tutta Italia, da nord a sud, non tralasciando le isole. Al momento lavora ai nuovi brani che andranno a comporre il prossimo album. La notte tra il 25 e il 26 Dicembre La Compagnia Scapestrati si esibirà in concerto al Terrace a Capoliveri (Isola d’Elba – loc. la trappola).La canzone verrà presentata al Teatro Dei Vigilanti “Renato Cioni” di Portoferraio (Isola d’Elba), in occasione della xv edizione dello spettacolo “Il mio amico Jimi”, dove diversi artisti renderanno omaggio a Giuseppe Catanzaro “Trick”, importante fonico italiano che ha vissuto parte della sua vita all’Isola d’Elba.
