Il medico di medicina generale operante sui territori di Badia Tedalda e Sestino dal 31 dicembre è andato in pensione ma gli abitanti dei due centri montani potranno continuare a contare sull’assistenza del medico di base. Ad assicurarlo è il direttore di Zona distretto Valtiberina, Giampiero Luatti: «Voglio ringraziare il dr. Enrico Brilli per l’impegno profuso in questi 40 anni sul territorio e per essere stato punto di riferimento per gli abitanti delle due comunità e rassicurare gli abitanti di Badia Tedalda e di Sestino riguardo all’assistenza del medico di base che continuerà ad essere garantita, grazie ad un progetto messo a punto da Asl Toscana Sud Est. Questa situazione è stata sperimentata anche in altre parti del nostro territorio aziendale. Grazie a questo progetto i pazienti potranno contare su un pool di medici che erogheranno l’attività a turno. Ovviamente l’utente non avrà sempre un medico fisso ma potrà comunque sempre avere l’assistenza di un medico di medicina generale».

Il progetto elaborato da Asl Tse, previsto dagli accordi aziendali, ha lo scopo di garantire l’assistenza primaria alle zone prive di MMG attraverso un pool di un medici della AFT (Aggregazione Funzionale territoriale) che hanno dato la propria disponibilità, assicurando quelle prestazioni tipiche del medico di famiglia quali attività ambulatoriale, domiciliare, gli accessi in RSA, prescrizioni, certificati e tutto quanto è compito del MMG. Considerando le attività svolte nei due Comuni, ci sarà sempre un medico presente tutti i giorni con attività ambulatoriale e con visite domiciliari effettuate indistintamente su entrambi.
Il medico potrà essere contattato direttamente per esigenze indifferibili, potranno essere prenotate le visite e, infine, in entrambi i Comuni ci sarà un ambulatorio infermieristico con compiti di filtro verso il medico per le richieste di routine. «Tutto questo – prosegue Giampiero Luatti – è frutto di numerosi incontri con i vari interlocutori (medici AFT, medici disponibili al progetto, amministratori, Misericordie, farmacisti) e con la popolazione. In particolare, devo ringraziare i Sindaci dei due Comuni, Alberto Santucci e Franco Dori, per il sostegno e l’ apporto sempre assicurato al progetto, nell’ interesse dei propri concittadini. I turni mensili di ambulatorio sono sfalsati tra i due Comuni per assicurare uguale assistenza, a fronte di bacini di utenza pressoché analoghi. Oltre ai due Comuni abbiamo coinvolto anche le due Misericordie presenti sul territorio per la prenotazione delle visite programmate. Ovviamente mi auguro che questo progetto sia limitato nel tempo e che si possa trovare il prima possibile il sostituto del Dr. Brilli».
«Nella fase di applicazione – conclude Luatti – è previsto un monitoraggio costante delle attività per individuare eventuali criticità e intervenire. Sicuramente anche la popolazione dovrà adattarsi a questo nuovo modello che, in assenza di un medico convenzionato, necessita di una maggiore organizzazione».

Il Medico di medicina generale è presente al Centro Socio Sanitario di Sestino (in via dei Tigli, 11) e in quello di Badia Tedalda (in via Montini, 2) ed è contattabile al numero telefonico 349 0615334.
Per richieste di visite mediche ambulatoriali su appuntamento chiamare dal lunedì al venerdì: per Badia Tedalda dalle 9:00 alle 11:00 (cell. 353 4322476) mentre per Sestino dalle 10:00 alle 12:00 (cell. 371 5258230). Per richieste di routine e di farmaci continuativi rivolgersi a: Ambulatorio infermieristico Centro Socio Sanitario di Badia Tedalda, aperto dal lunedì al sabato dalle 11:00 alle 12:00; il martedì e il giovedì dalle 16:00 alle 17:30 al numero 0575 757635. Per Sestino all’Ambulatorio infermieristico Centro Socio sanitario di Sestino aperto dal lunedì al sabato dalle 10:30 alle 11:30; il lunedì e il mercoledì dalle 16:00 alle 17:30 al numero 0575 757014
