L’amministrazione comunale premierà anche quest’anno i diplomati tifernati più meritevoli degli istituti superiori: sabato 11 gennaio, alle ore 10.30, la cerimonia di consegna delle borse di studio Cestini-Polenzani I diplomati tifernati più meritevoli degli istituti superiori al termine dell’anno scolastico 2023-2024 saranno premiati dall’amministrazione comunale di Città di Castello con le dieci borse di studio da 1.000 euro ciascuna intitolate alla memoria di Rossella Cestini e Sergio Polenzani.
Nel nome di due figure simbolo del servizio alla comunità e dell’impegno nel mondo della scuola a sostegno della crescita delle nuove generazioni, insieme ai familiari sabato 11 gennaio alle ore 10.30 il sindaco Luca Secondi e l’assessore ai Servizi Educativi Letizia Guerri accoglieranno nella sala del consiglio comunale i giovani che si sono distinti negli studi per tributare loro un pubblico riconoscimento al merito, ma anche incoraggiarli e sostenerli concretamente nel prosieguo della loro carriera formativa. I ragazzi che riceveranno le borse di studio sono stati selezionati tra tutti i diplomati residenti nel territorio comunale tifernate che hanno regolarmente concluso il secondo ciclo di istruzione presso scuole secondarie di secondo grado statali o paritarie (senza ripetere l’anno) e hanno presentato domanda per l’assegnazione dei riconoscimenti. Al fine della definizione della graduatoria è stato valutato prioritariamente il merito scolastico, con l’attribuzione a ciascun candidato di un punteggio pari alla valutazione media conseguita negli ultimi due anni precedenti l’esame di maturità (4° e 5°), che non doveva essere inferiore a 8,50/10. A parità di merito è stata data precedenza al candidato con l’ISEE più basso, che per partecipare all’avviso pubblico doveva essere uguale o inferiore a 30.000 euro.
