PERCHÉ UN PROGETTO CON LE SCUOLE. Il territorio della Provincia di Arezzo è esposto a molteplici pericoli derivanti da eventi naturali che possono interessare l’intera comunità o parte di essa. Le conseguenze negative possono essere sensibilmente ridotte attraverso la conoscenza dei meccanismi che le generano, la consapevolezza dei possibili danni che possono arrecare e la messa in atto di azioni per la loro mitigazione.
Grande importanza viene assegnata ai corretti comportamenti da tenere in caso di eventi calamitosi. Ciascun cittadino può e deve essere parte attiva per la prevenzione ed il contenimento dei danni. L’informazione alla popolazione diviene così uno degli strumenti su cui la Protezione Civile investe per ridurre il rischio.
La Scuola rappresenta l’interlocutore privilegiato con cui intraprendere percorsi di informazione, sensibilizzazione e prevenzione dei rischi, al fine di formare cittadini sempre più consapevoli del loro ruolo nella prevenzione ed il concorso al superamento delle emergenze.
OBIETTIVI DEL PROGETTO
aumentare la consapevolezza, sia negli studenti che nei loro insegnanti, che nel territorio in cui vivono vi sono elementi di pericolosità legati ad eventi naturali o antropici (conosco dove vivo); comprendere che, durante una calamità, attraverso un idoneo comportamento è possibile ridurre l’esposizione al rischio e mitigarne gli effetti. In questo modo si contribuisce più efficacemente alla gestione delle operazioni di aiuto e supporto alla popolazione da parte degli Enti preposti (la Protezione Civile
siamo tutti noi); avere un corretto approccio con il NUE 112 (Numero Unico Emergenze),
inteso come strumento di aiuto nell’emergenza. Conoscere come funziona e
come interagire in modo più consapevole aumenta l’efficacia degli interventi
(cittadino consapevole) far conoscere l’organizzazione del sistema della Protezione Civile in tutte
le sue componenti e favorire un senso di appartenenza di ciascun cittadino
alla nostra società (senso civico).
QUALI SONO I SOGGETTI COINVOLTI?
Nella realizzazione del progetto 2025 sono coinvolti a vario titolo:
· I tecnici della Provincia di Arezzo;
· L’Ufficio Scolastico Provinciale;
· I volontari delle OdV di Protezione Civile aderenti al Coordinamento
Provinciale, formati con un apposito corso base e vari di aggiornamento;
· 9 Comuni e le loro scuole primarie e secondarie di primo grado;
· Le Unioni dei Comuni del Casentino e della Valtiberina;
· Gli Istituti secondari di secondo grado del territorio provinciale;
· I Vigili del Fuoco e il Soccorso sanitario;
· I ricercatori dell’Istituto Nazionale di geofisica e Vulcanologia (INGV) di
Arezzo;
· Il Sistema Regionale Antincendi Boschivi;
· Altre Componenti del Sistema Provinciale di Protezione Civile.
DOVE E QUANDO SI SVOLGERÀ IL PROGETTO 2025?
Nelle scuole primarie e secondarie di primo grado:
○ Sono stati individuati i Comuni di: Arezzo, Marciano della
Chiana, Lucignano, Laterina Pergine, Cavriglia, Castel san Niccolò,
Chiusi della Verna, Pieve Santo Stefano e Monterchi.
○ Per ciascun Comune gli incontri saranno suddivisi per plessi e per
classi di età per un totale di circa 15 incontri distribuiti a partire dal
mese di febbraio fino a tutto maggio 2025;
• Nelle scuole secondarie di secondo grado:
○ Sono previsti incontri nei vari Istituti della provincia.
