Abilitato il decollo e l’atterraggio con tecnologia NVG a visore notturno Il campo sportivo di Loro Cuffenna (Arezzo) utilizzato come pista di atterraggio per l’elisoccorso. L’autorizzazione è arrivata nei giorni scorsi dall’Ente Nazionale per l’Aviazione Civile (Enac), che ha dato il via libera. Il campo sportivo di Loro Ciuffena è stato abilitato per l’atterraggio di Pegaso 2, unico mezzo della Regione Toscana dotato di tecnologia NVG (Night Vision Goggles) a visore notturno, che consente ai piloti una visione migliore durante il volo notturno.
“È fondamentale aumentare la rete dell’elisoccorso, è l’unico modo per garantire un’assistenza tempestiva – sottolinea Stefano Barbadori, direttore della UOC Elisoccorso ed Emergenza Territoriale 118 -. La tempestività è un fattore non trascurabile nell’emergenza urgenza e il campo sportivo di Loro Ciuffenna aggiunge un tassello importantissimo nel territorio del Valdarno. “Atterrare di notte anche a luci spente, grazie alla tecnologia montata su Pegaso 2, è un fatto molto importante per tutto il Valdarno, una zona che di notte ha pochi punti per poter effettuare rendez vous, oltre alla piazzola dell’ospedale Santa Maria La Gruccia – spiega Simone Nocentini, responsabile dell’Area Dipartimentale Emergenza Territoriale del 118 -. Questo ulteriore punto di decollo e atterraggio dell’elisoccorso colma una lacuna lungo la Setteponti, consentendo il trasporto sanitario in caso di necessità”.
Attualmente i punti di atterraggio nel Valdarno sono: la piazzola dell’ospedale Santa Maria La Gruccia, il campo sportivo di Pian di Scò, il campo sportivo di San Giustino Valdarno, campo sportivo di Poggio Bagnoli, campo sportivo di Bucine, a cui si è aggiunto da poco il campo sportivo di Loro Ciuffenna. Sui siti di Loro Ciuffenna e di Poggio Bagnoli è possibile il volo notturno solo con la dotazione tecnologica di Pegaso 2 con visori NVG. Tutte le altre superfici sono invece dotate di illuminazione propria e possono essere quindi raggiunte da Pegaso 2 e Pegaso 3.

Grazie al lavoro di tutto lo staff, guidato dal dottor Andrea Nicolini, in qualità di direttore delle Centrali Operative 118 e Reti Territoriali dell’Azienda USL Toscana centro, abbiamo reso possibile il decollo e l’atterraggio di Pegaso 2 anche in assenza di luce in un luogo strategico per la zona del Valdarno. Un lavoro sinergico tra Aziende che ha dato i suoi frutti”.
