“Qualità dell’aria negli ambienti scolastici”

al via il progetto che coinvolgerà 45 scuole nelle 3 province dell’Asl TseIl progetto regionale ha come obiettivo il rilevamento della concentrazione di CO2 nell’aria all’interno delle classi delle scuole e partirà a marzo Tre province e 45 istituti scolastici in totale per il progetto di monitoraggio e campionamento di anidride carbonica all’interno delle aule.

È il progetto regionale “Qualità dell’aria negli ambienti scolastici” nelle scuole superiori di Arezzo, Grosseto e Siena e che vede coinvolto il personale dei Dipartimenti di prevenzione (diretto dal dottor Giorgio Briganti) e delle professioni tecnico sanitarie, della riabilitazione e della prevenzione (diretto dalla dott.ssa Daniela Cardelli) dell’Asl Toscana sud est. Il progetto, che partirà a marzo e coinvolgerà nel corso dell’anno 15 scuole per ognuna delle tre province, mira a promuovere la salute all’interno degli edifici scolastici attraverso il monitoraggio della Co2, con campionamenti di aria e la divulgazione di ‘buone pratiche’ per favorirne un corretto ricambio.Nel caso di un locale densamente affollato come un’aula scolastica, portare più “aria fresca esterna di rinnovo”, permette, infatti, di diluire e ridurre le concentrazioni di inquinanti specifici (es. PM10, odori, batteri, virus, allergeni, ecc.), di CO2, di umidità e contenere il rischio di esposizione e contaminazioni per alunni e personale. Per una buona qualità dell’aria interna è, quindi, necessario aerare spesso i locali garantendo un buon ricambio. Nei locali chiusi, la concentrazione di CO₂ rappresenta un importante indicatore della qualità dell’aria, poiché il suo livello aumenta in modo proporzionale rispetto a tutte le altre sostanze
