Tanta gente ieri in piazza per il carnevale

Città di Castello – protagonisti assoluti i bambini con le loro famiglie. Il salotto buono della città si  è trasformato in un vero e proprio palcoscenico per le maschere con Re Dodone applaudito da tutti

Maschere e coriandoli, musica e tanta allegria hanno movimentato la domenica pomeriggio sotto  lo sguardo benevolo di Re Dodone, il simbolo della tradizione carnevalesca. “Una tradizione cara ai tifernati che si e’ rinnovata. Un evento a cui teniamo, perché è una riunione allegra e spensierata della comunità, un pomeriggio di festa che fa parte del vissuto e dell’identità popolare, nel quale divertimento, sorrisi e creatività danno spettacolo, coinvolgendo veramente tutti, dai bambini agli adulti”, ha dichiarato l’assessore al Commercio e al Turismo, Letizia Guerri, nel ringraziare le società rionali, le pro loco e le associazioni di volontariato del territorio “per l’entusiasmo e la generosità con cui da sempre sono al fianco dell’amministrazione comunale nel contribuire ad animare e rendere piacevole la festa nel centro storico”. Per tutto il pomeriggio i volontari di Riosecco, San Pio, Salaiolo, San Giacomo, Quelli delà del Ponte – Pesci d’Oro, Madonna del Latte, Prato, Casella, Badiali e Mattonata, hanno preparato per i presenti ciaccine fritte, mazzafegati e salsicce e dolci. Un tocco di gusto e prelibatezze che si sono aggiunti all’animazione per i bambini, con tante divertenti occasioni di gioco, tra cui truccabimbi, bolle di sapone giganti, baby dance, palloncini e sparacoriandoli. L’assessore  Guerri presente in piazza assieme al sindaco Luca Secondi ed alcuni assessori e consiglieri comunali ha  rivolto “un sentito ringraziamento al personale dell’Ufficio Commercio, “che ha curato con la consueta attenzione ogni aspetto organizzativo dell’evento ed al corpo di polizia locale, alle forze dell’ordine e protezione civile”. Ancora una volta quindi e’ Re Dodone la maschera simbolo dei tifernati a suggellare il carnevale come ormai accade dal 1877. Un monarca con una testa di taglia forte, portata in corteo per le strade applaudito da tutti.
