Oltre 30 mila euro il valore delle ultime donazioni dell’associazione presieduta da Giancarlo Sassoli all’ospedale di Arezzo Pannelli colorati per l’umanizzazione del reparto di Radiologia e due dispositivi, un ecografo esaote e un ventilatore polmonare, destinati della Terapia intensiva. Ammontano ad oltre 30 mila euro le ultime donazioni di Calcit Arezzo all’ospedale San Donato.
La presentazione stamani nella biblioteca dell’ospedale alla presenza del direttore generale Asl Tse, Marco Torre. I pannelli colorati, riproducenti paesaggi montani e collinari, sono stati installati alle pareti delle sale di attesa della Risonanza e a quelle di ingresso alla Tac, proseguendo così nel processo di umanizzazione dei luoghi dell’ospedale dove i pazienti attendono di sottoporsi a esami diagnostici o terapie. Il primo step un anno fa con l’installazione di pannelli analoghi nei locali che ospitano i due acceleratori lineari della UOC Radioterapia al fine di renderli più accoglienti e distrarre i pazienti che si sottopongono a lunghe terapie. I recenti allestimenti in Radiologia sono stati possibili grazie al contributo di 2500 euro del Calcit Arezzo e del suo presidente Giancarlo Sassoli. «Ringrazio Calcit per queste nuove importanti donazioni che vanno ad aggiungersi a quelle provenienti da altre associazioni – dichiara Marco Torre, Direttore generale Asl Tse -. Il mondo dell’associazionismo rappresenta un tassello importante per il nostro ospedale, capace di dare risposte alle molteplici esigenze dei pazienti e dei nostri operatori sanitari. La collaborazione di Calcit, come delle altre associazioni presenti sul territorio, contribuisce a migliorare il servizio offerto dal sistema sanitario a vantaggio degli utenti ma anche del nostro personale. L’allestimento di immagini e pannelli rende più accoglienti gli ambienti ospedalieri e può contribuire al benessere non solo dei nostri pazienti ma anche di coloro che in ospedale lavorano. Ambienti curati anche sotto il profilo estetico possono fare la differenza ed essere essi stessi parte attiva nel prendersi cura delle persone». «Rendere accoglienti sale di attesa e luoghi di cura è molto importante – dice il dr. Duccio Venezia, direttore UOC Radiologia PO Aretino, Casentino, Valtiberina, Valdichiana Aretina -. Per molti nostri utenti sottoporsi ad esami diagnostici, spesso, rappresenta motivo di preoccupazione. I pannelli che riproducono i paesaggi danno la sensazione di una finestra aperta sull’esterno, contribuendo a far dimenticare, anche se per poco, di essere in ospedale: essi rappresentano una forma di rispetto e di attenzione verso la parte emotiva ed emozionale dei nostri pazienti. Un grazie particolare va proprio al Calcit Arezzo e al suo presidente Sassoli sempre pronto ad accogliere le richieste degli operatori sanitari». Due i dispositivi donati alla Terapia intensiva: un ventilatore polmonare e un ecografo esaote con sonde per accessi vascolari del valore complessivo di oltre 30 mila euro.
L’ecografo esaote è stato assegnato al Team accessi vascolari, che afferisce ad Anestesia e Rianimazione e che svolge la propria attività al letto del paziente, all’interno dei vari reparti ospedalieri e nel territorio: in ospedale l’attività si tiene in una saletta dedicata, vicino al blocco operatorio e alla terapia intensiva. Il team è composto da medici e infermieri specializzati in accessi vascolari ecoguidati e fanno parte della Rete Accessi Vascolari Aziendale. Il dispositivo va ad aggiungersi ai due già in uso ed è impiegato per l’inserimento ecoguidato di accessi vascolari. Ad Arezzo, sono ben 2100 gli accessi vascolari effettuati ogni anno solo al San Donato, tra cateteri totalmente impiantabili (PORT), Midline e PICC. «Si tratta di un dispostivo fondamentale per la somministrazione delle terapie in pazienti oncologici e oncoematologici – spiega Riccardo Batistini , infermiere specializzato Team accessi vascolari -: l’accesso impiantato sotto guida ecografica, non è visibile e rimane sottocute, anche per molti anni, permettendo alla persona di svolgere le normali attività quotidiane. Inoltre, grazie all’ecografo, è possibile impiantare anche accessi venosi periferici tipo PICC e Midline per la somministrazione di terapia endovenosa, di alimentazione parenterale e terapia antibiotica di medio e lunga durata, in quei pazienti con scarso patrimonio venoso e con la possibilità di preservarlo anche nei soggetti fragili, direttamente al posto letto, in ambiente dedicato o sul territorio in collaborazione con l’infermiere di famiglia ». Infine, il ventilatore polmonare donato da Calcit alla Terapia Intensiva, che grazie alle sue caratteristiche consente di erogare la ventilazione meccanica al paziente critico sia all’interno della rianimazione sia all’esterno. «Questo strumento – dice la dr.ssa Raffaella Pavani, direttrice UOC Terapia Intensiva San Donato – garantisce la continuità assistenziale durante il trasporto del malato critico con efficacia, efficienza e sicurezza e rappresenta un grande miglioramento, sotto il profilo della sicurezza, nei trasporti dei malati critici nel reparto di Terapia Intensiva dell’Ospedale di Arezzo, che nel 2024 ha effettuato 70 trasferimenti interospedalieri e 600 trasporti intraospedalieri».
