Cordoglio in città per la scomparsa di ILO MARIOTTINI

E’ scomparso ieri all’età di 84 anni, Ilo Mariottini, “maestro” del verde e dei fiori titolare di una storica azienda florivivaistica di Città di Castello che proprio nel 2025 ha tagliato il traguardo dei 60 anni di attività. Spoletino, a Città di Castello dagli anni ‘70, è’ stato un vero e proprio maestro nel settore del “verde” ad ogni livello dai giardini delle case private agli spazi pubblici sociali e sportivi.

Per oltre venti anni ha curato con grande professionalità il manto erboso dello stadio comunale “Corrado Bernicchi”, con orgoglio e dedizione convinto di mettere le mani sullo storico  tappeto caro ai tifernati calcato dai campioni biancorossi del passato. Ha iniziato nel rione Rignaldello l’attività di vendita di piante e fiori e cura del verde per poi trasferirsi al “Gorgone” ed infine nella sede attuale a Riosecco con i figli Camillo e Valentina, il genero Gianluca Gentiletti, familiari e collaboratori di primissimo livello. Titolare assieme alla moglie di un noto ristorante e pizzeria sempre nel quartiere Riosecco, Ilo Mariottini ha lasciato un tocco di classe e signorilità in ogni progetto di lavoro o iniziativa in favore della sua amata città. Il sindaco Luca Secondi appresa la notizia a nome della giunta ha formulato le più sentite condoglianze e cordoglio alla famiglia ricordando il suo ruolo svolto da sempre per rendere più bella la città e onorare al meglio ogni ricorrenza per le famiglie. “Ci mancheranno la sua gentilezza, il sorriso e la disponibilità verso gli altri. Valori che faremo nostri con orgoglio”. I funerali si svolgeranno domani alle ore 15 presso la parrocchia di Riosecco. Al cordoglio di sindaco è giunta si e’ unito anche il presidente del consiglio comunale, Luciano Bacchetta che ha ricordato con profonda commozione la scomparsa di un “caro amico, innamorato della sua città, dei suoi colori e della sua storia”.
