Qualche giornalista italiano ha pensato bene di chiamare la propria testata La Verità, avendola in tasca lui per tutti, pronta da distribuire a più lettori possibile al posto di quelli che dicono solo bugie. Donald Trump non è stato da meno e siccome parla inglese ha chiamato Truth il social da lui fondato dopo che lo avevano cacciato da Twitter perché le sparava grosse. Twitter non cinguetta più, è diventato X e accoglie qualsiasi opinione, senza alcun filtro in nome di una malintesa libertà di parola
C′è stato un momento nella storia recente in cui tutto pareva narrazione e che il mondo si potesse costruire raccontando storie. Finita l′epoca delle Grandi Narrazioni della modernità occidentale, muoiono prima Dio, poi le ideologie e nasce la Post Modernità, dove tutto è da decostruire, tutto è post-qualcosa, compresa la Post-Verità. Senza Grandi Narrazioni accettate da tutti perché fondate sulla razionalità, la realtà diventa una cosa fatta sia di cose vere che di percezioni soggettive, quasi una cosa mistica, dove prevale la fede sulla ragione. Del resto la soggettività è l′unica possibilità di avere accesso agli oggetti e quindi all′oggettività del reale. Non ci resta che capire i meccanismi di quello che accade e scegliere da che parte stare. Magari temendo quelli che si dicono titolari di verità assoluta. La storia dell′umanità è costellata da racconti su individui eccentrici che improvvisamente si mettono a sovvertire le opinioni degli altri raccontando storie, siano essi elettori, vittime dirette, marginalmente disinteressati o più in generale consumatori. L′epoca della Post-Verità è sostanziata da fatti alternativi, da fake news che provocano danni devastanti ai valori fondamentali che determinano il modo in cui una nazione definisce la propria democrazia. Indipendentemente dalle idee, dalle azioni e talvolta dalla vera e propria miseria morale che hanno accompagnato la nascita e l’evoluzione di una nazione, le filosofie e i valori politici che hanno fatto nascere comunità coese e nazioni emancipate si fondavano su una minima verificabile base di onestà e autenticità, valori centrali e condivisi dai padri fondatori, dai governanti e dagli elettori di una nazione. L’onestà, l’accuratezza, il riferimento a eventi che possono essere verificati da un′autorità superiore riconosciuta da tutti sono sempre più sostituiti dalla plausibilità percepita e dall′immediata (non-mediata) accettabilità di gesticolazioni e slogan di pochi fabbricanti di notizie, tanto meno credibili quanto più si dichiarano titolari di verità. Ogni medicinale è corredato dalla prescrizione di leggere attentamente le avvertenze e da un foglio che si chiama bugiardino.
